Abby was a primary school teacher, a wife, and a brand new mum to a little girl that she had spent years dreaming of having. And just days before she disappeared, she'd been surrounded by friends and family celebrating her daughter's christening. Everything in her life finally seemed to be falling into perfect place. So when she suddenly vanished, the people closest to her knew almost immediately that something had to be wrong. And sadly They were right. The search for Abby Fisher would eventually end miles away from home in the middle of the Yorkshire countryside.
But how she got there and what happened to her along the way would take this investigation somewhere. nobody was expecting. But Abby had twenty nine years of life before this case. She was a daughter, a sister, a friend, a teacher, and finally, after years of desperately hoping for it, she was a mum. And that is the Abbey that the people who loved her want to be remembered. Abigail Elizabeth Fisher was born in Yorkshire on the 17th of November 1992.
She was the second child to parents Andrea and Mick, and she had an older brother named Nathan. And little Abby was just a darling. She was well behaved, she was polite, she was sweet, but a little bit of a daredevil.

She kept her parents on their toes, that's for sure. She had this very fearless, adventurous. Spirit that probably led her to climb trees and explore nature and end up with cuts and grazers all over her little knees. Both she and her brother were equally as active and playful. In fact, they were quite competitive, especially when it came to sports as they got older. And Abby never lost that fearlessness. Even into her 20s, she took part in a skydive where she jumped out. A flipping plane, which I don't think I would ever have the balls to do. So already I admire Abby's courage so much. But her adventurous spirit was only one facet of Abby's beautiful personality. She was bright, bubbly, outgoing, social.
She was also incredibly compassionate.
