What's going on? What's going on? What a Masters. What a finish. Congrats to Rory McIlroy.
Chapter 2: What were the highlights of Rory McIlroy's back-to-back Masters win?
But there's a side story that I can't get out of my head. And I still think right now at 4 p.m. Eastern, Scotty Scheffler is chasing Hao-Tong Lee down a highway, dude.
Pace. Pace.
I'm not kidding. Scotty Scheffler was on fire, and Hao Tong was playing hide-and-seek with Fred Ridley in the bushes, and he wouldn't come out.
Dude, I went back on the app and watched that 15 times last night.
Dude, Scotty had... Look at this guy. He's up... He's playing hide and seek with Fred Ridley up there. And Scottie is looking to win the golf tournament. I don't even know where he is right now. Look at him.
I can't believe he found that golf ball. I cannot believe he went to look for that golf ball.
Dude, what kind of shots did he hit to get up there?
Well, he snapped, hooked one way past Rays Creek. And up into the trees, I've never seen anybody up there. I would have to guess a member has never even stepped foot up there.
Dude, Fred Ridley has never stepped foot up there.

Chapter 3: How did Scotty Scheffler perform during the Masters tournament?
This guy is killing me. I'm chasing the third green jacket. I'm feeling it right now. I haven't had a bogey in 48 hours.
And how Tom goes dwarf on golf. I felt so bad for Scotty because Scotty wanted to strangle Haotong in the 18th green. Yes, he did. There's nothing you can do. Is there anything? Have you seen something like that before? Unless an official comes out there and says, Haotong, pick up your ball. It's not like you can say X out and go to the next tee.
Here's what's wild, Nodal. On the CBS call... They said Scheffler, he laid up on 13 and was about to hit a wedge in. They said he walked up to the green twice because, quote, Haotong is taking a long time up there looking for his golf ball, end quote. After Haotong slashes out of the trees multiple times, he proceeds to putt the ball into the water.
Into the water! Yes! This is how, Tommy, he's trying to get back on track, and he motors this putt into the drink. The crazy thing is, the last time I saw a guy do this, it was Eldrick Tiger Woods on the same green.
Right.
He putted his golf ball into Ray's Creek, and right now, Scotty Scheffler's top is about to blow off his head. It's like you're watching a guy playing hide-and-seek with Freddie up in the woods, and then he gets down to the green and ducks it in the water with a putter in his hand.
And then chili chunks the next one because he was so worried about putting it in the water.
But it was a mess for him, right? Obviously it happens. One guy's on fire, the other guy's on a mess, and it adds to the pressure because he knows that Scotty's staring at him going like, let's move it.
But, man, oh, man. This might be my favorite part of it all. It's on 14. Scheffler blows one left.

Chapter 4: What challenges did Hao-Tong Lee face at the Masters?
And 53 weeks later, he's got two green jackets. Yeah. About... About the same timeline, a little bit less, I'd say, what is it, about 46 weeks ago, the Leafs were playing Florida at Scotiabank Arena, game seven of the second round. Fast forward 46 weeks and it's a tank off on Saturday night for both teams. Like, it's amazing how things can change.
McElroy to the positive and Leafs-Panthers to the negative. Now, the Panthers are obviously in a different world because they have two rings and the Cops and all that kind of stuff. But the game on Saturday... It was obviously lifeless. Everyone in the building's like, it's a formality. Let's go down. And they got one more tonight.
And I think Joe Bowen's going to play a huge role in the game tonight. I certainly hope he does. His last game, you know, calling a leaf game at Scotiabank Arena. He called all those games at the Gardens. But... I was in the building for that, walking in. I know what happened.
Obviously, it was a debacle, and it was over 20 minutes into the game, and the Panthers just absolutely demolished the Leafs. But walking in there, I'm like, wow, it's game seven, second round, Leafs-Panthers, anything could happen.
Well, you're optimistic.
Yeah, anything could happen. What a huge game, and the buzz noodles downtown and in the ring. It was... You couldn't get enough of it. And then 46 weeks later, you're like, oh, yeah, they're playing tonight. Yeah, I guess so. It's crazy.
Were you guys, neither one of you, I'm assuming, were in the building Saturday night for that? Because it looked busy. Oh, yeah, it's Saturday night.
For sure. Why not? And those would have been big tickets early in the year, Noodles. Oh, huge. Right? Last Saturday night game against Florida. You're thinking that's probably for first place in the division or.
I kept thinking that a Wednesday night game is going to be a throwaway, too, because Ottawa clinched. I kept thinking in my mind, I'm like, Wednesday night's going to be a massive game. At the start of the season, when I looked at the schedule, I'm like, that last game of the season could be for something. Ottawa, Toronto, and that.

Chapter 5: What are the implications of Morgan Rielly's potential last game for the Maple Leafs?
Can I do the career Grand Slam twice? He's motivated by history. And Nick Faldo came out, you know, right as he got out of Butler Cabin and shook his hand, put his arm around his shoulder. That was very meaningful to Rory to have a guy that he was he was trying to reach, you know, his level and he's done it.
Fax, can you talk about the tee ball on 13? I think it showed a lot about the stones that this guy has and the confidence in his own ability. Three days in a row he put it in the trees and he just stood up there and ripped one 350 down the right side. There were people on social media screaming at him saying, hit your three wood, hit a different club. But he said, you know what?
This is my biggest weapon. I'm going to use it to my advantage. And he pulled it off.
And that's the McElroy mindset. Honestly, you guys, this is... Every time I've played golf with him, and even when he visited Augusta National the three weeks prior to the event, he plays with driver everywhere. It's a tool for him that if he gets this thing going... You know, you can't beat him. And he looks at ways to hit driver rather than not use it.
And I would go back and say a couple things. First of all, last year when he had his three-shot lead going into 13, he pulled a three-wood out, laid up, and you saw what happened. He made a double. This year he gets to 11 and he makes an eight footer for a par. I think that was the biggest momentum putt that he made there because if he dropped that shot going to 12, that's dangerous.
So he kept the lead, hit the best iron shot of the week for him, that nine iron that he hit into. to 12 to the back right to the Sunday hole location, which was the closest shot of the day. Makes that putt, which is a left to right breaker. The previous shot had been right to left. And now he gets up on 13, having kind of pushed three drives in a row too far, having to lay up every time.
And he hits what was the best drive of any of the par fives he hit. Of the four par fives all four days with the 16 tee balls, that was the best one because it got him up It was even though it was in the first cut, it was past the banking part, the sloping part of the fairway where he was on a level like lie.
And, you know, he played that conservative second shot, which you have to do trying to use the bank. And that two putt up and down was huge because Cameron Young was right next to him. Rory's was seven or eight feet below the hole with a putt. Young from the same place used his wedge to chip it and hit it just outside Rory's. Cameron Young makes. Mrs. Rory makes. Huge swing right there.
Fax, you mentioned Rory going up prior to this Masters, and this has blown up into this weird story. I wouldn't even call it a controversy, but some people wondering about the advantage that he had because he went up and played multiple times beforehand while the rest of the tour went through Texas. They all were allowed to do that as well. Anyone could have gone up there and played, I believe.

Chapter 6: What key insights did Auston Matthews share at the end-of-season press conference?
The idea is when your group, your kids are like on the mat, the stage. You've got to go up to the front, and it's like there's parents doing the full routine, and I'm like, I'm not. I go, I just have to sit by myself. I've got to sit by myself. I've seen it. You see the moms in the front row doing the routine.
Dude, they're doing the routine because they know the routine, and they want their kids to do well, and I'm like. No, I don't go to the front. I just sit with my coffee.
We've got to make that happen, though. That would be amazing.
Dude, can you imagine if a vid surfaced? If I was doing cartwheels.
Blowing your hammy out on the splits.
He's doing cartwheels. My jersey comes up and my barrel's flying around the floor.
Oh, I need to see it. All right, hour two coming up. Craig will join us. Leafs stars tonight. The playoffs are almost set. Stanley Cup playoffs are almost set. We'll look ahead to it. Overdrive continues. TSN 1050 and on the TSN app.
