Alright, here we go, Overdrive, off and running. TSN 1050 on the TSN app, your home smart speaker, up on TSN 5, up on YouTube Live. Brian Hayes, Jonas Siegel, and Frankie Corrado in here. How's everyone doing this afternoon? What's up, boys? Jonas, it's great to see you. Good to see you. It's been a long time, man. I know. I don't know what your deal is, but every time I see you, you're skinnier than the last time I've seen you. It's crazy. Here's the truth. I have known Jonas longer than probably anyone in the industry, right? I would say he and I have been friends for 17, 18 years I've known Jonas. I have never seen him eat anything unhealthy. Not one time. And I've never seen him drink anything but water, which is a remarkable stat.
That's the truth. And that's a compliment. I wish I could do that. I have no self-power. Like last night, I was ready to shut the mill down. I was tired and I was ready to go to sleep. And I decided, you know what? I'm going to head downstairs and I'm going to throw on the Golf Channel Sports Center. I'm going to check in on some things, scroll my phone, and I'm going to fire up a bag of chips and Diet Coke. That's a whole event, by the way. A total event. When you have a wife and kids and you've got nothing else going on in your life, that becomes something you're like, I'm doing it, man. I'm living tonight. I'm going downstairs, and I'm getting a little bit crazy. That's literally something you could punch in on your phone calendar and set an alert for it and say, I got an hour of chips, golf channel, and a little bit of me time, and you carve it out.
Exactly what I did last night. What kind of chips? So I have a rotation. There's not a lot of segregation when it comes to me and chips. I am open to almost anything. I'm a chip guy. That may surprise you, Joe. I don't know if you were profiling me as a chip guy, but I've got a lot of things going. I think if you're talking about if you could do one of those nights and it's the last one you're ever going to do, you're pulling out a Miss Vicky salt and vinegar. Yeah, that would be high on the list. Miss Vicky can't miss. Like a spicy dill pickle, Miss Vicky is off the charts. What about a jalapeno? I don't mind it. It's like you mix it in. It's a mix-in. Yeah. It's not your go-to. I'm a Canadian, too. I like ketchup chips, barbecue.
How many are in the rotation? Oh, I got a lot. I got Doritos in there sometimes. Go Doritos, eh? Oh, I got everything. Dude, Doritos is when you're like back in your teen years and you're gaming with the boys. It is so embarrassing when you look at your fingers and you're like, I'm a grown adult. Like, what am I doing? Like, what am I doing with myself? Now, I will admit I don't do that very often. What I'm saying is I don't segregate against it. Jonas, like it may not be a choice, but it's not something I'm going to turn down. And like you pointed out, you give me a scenario where like, dude, end of a long weekend, kids are asleep. You're just, you know, you're watching SportsCenter. You got the end of a CFL game on or something.
You want to fire up a bag of chips? I'm in. Dude, I did that last night. I'll bet you you've never done that, Jonas. Have you ever done that before? Maybe kale chips. Be honest. Done what? Just like launched into a chip routine where... So this may surprise you.
I eat healthy when I'm working.
Yeah.
But when it's off hours... Anything goes. You let loose. You're a wild guy.
You're a wild guy. You have like some apple slices with some peanut butter.
I have a soft spot for ice cream. Okay. I like that. I like that. I had Miss Vicky's last night. There you go. See, I love hearing that. When I'm snacking, it's kind of out of control.
I love hearing that, Jonas. See, Jonas.
He's a man of the people. He really is. Absolutely.
Well, it's great to see both of you guys. And I noticed you both kind of, there's a little bro hug because we're kind of right in the middle of hockey season ending like five weeks ago and hockey season starting in about five weeks, right?
