What's going on today?
How are we feeling this afternoon? Good. Boys, it's been a while.
But I cried on the way home yesterday, Hazy, for you. Did you?
Oh, yeah.
I did. Noodles. Yeah. I heard something. That was tough.
Oh, yeah?
My boy, Hazy, I think he thought in his mind that him and my guy, Ernie Clement, who we've been talking nonstop since golf.
Yep.

Chapter 3: How did the Hurricanes dominate the Flyers in the playoffs?
For starters...
bad stories i cried i haven't cried in like a long time i'm sure you did and we had a phenomenal day yesterday it was awesome out there at the lincoln cup we can't thank everyone enough from lincoln from copetown from tsn everyone top to bottom it was a remarkable day ernie was there ryan reeves was awesome he was a great guy and he was yeah a lot of fun to hang out with we're rooting for him chasing a thousand games right he's at 962 for his career and
You know, he thinks he can go another year. He plans on going another year, and I wouldn't bet against him, man. He is an awesome guy, and it was a lot of fun yesterday. Here's the story, all right, Noodles? No. For starters, I'm partners with Ernie, right? This guy writes me after. He goes, dude, what were you doing, like, talking with Ernie all the time?
I'm like, we're in a cart together, and he's my partner. Like, what do you think, I'm going to ice him out? Like, not try to spark a conversation with him.
Just ride with him the whole time and don't say a word.
Don't say anything to look cool for whatever reason.
I know, but, Jamie, we all know a guy in a room who goes, hey, O-Dog, and then they're like, hey, hey, Revo, and then he was like, hey, hey, Ernie, Ernie, Ernie.
Listen, I'm trying to be a man of the people. So were you.
He was one of those guys. Whoever the most important guy in the room, he would just saddle down.

Chapter 4: What changes are being discussed regarding the Stanley Cup Playoffs format?
This guy wants to play exclusively with Ernie, which is fine because his ears peak that he likes to play early and he plays fast. And they don't want me because I'm not very good and I'm slow. So I get it. I know I'm getting iced out. But then on the way out, this guy puts in a request for something in the clubhouse.
Starts requesting things. You get Vladdy to drop off a bat at the house.
Yes. Met the guy six hours ago. Oh, just for the record, do you have any eye block I could get? Anything else from the clubhouse? I'm like, I can't believe this guy launched into requests immediately for clubhouse material. You know what? It's better than what I heard.
When I heard, I'm good, bud, I almost passed out. Other than losing the Stanley Cup final in 2002, that was the saddest I've been driving home. Well, I know what's coming. I had some country twos playing, and a tear dribbled right down my eye.
You and Ernie at 7 a.m. sharp is a twosome, and I know I'm going to get texts from people saying, yeah, Owen and his new best friend were out here playing this morning.
I guarantee, like, I thought, oh, I'd talk to him and say, can you go over and just, you know, dust this guy or whatever. I need a favor from you, buds. Go over and pretend you don't know this guy after spending six hours with him.
Right.
Like, that's what I thought this was all about. But I don't know. Is it true or not? I mean, did you... Noodles.
Like, for starters, we're grown men here. Yes, yes. You know, like, it's really... I don't have any intentions of doing anything in the future. Hey, listen, we... Ryan Reeves ever wants to play, he's in. Ernie ever wants to play. Oh, you and I, we try to play as much as we can. Awesome guys. And we're going to do a call down again in the fall.

Chapter 5: What is the impact of Alphonso Davies' injury on Canada Soccer?
And I don't know if I'll be included. I've got to wait. The two best friends, Owen and his buddy Ernie.
I'll tell you what, Lincoln, being around that navigator, Hazy, It worked because I ordered one today.
You got your Navigator on route.
Yes. Thank you to Andrew Sawyer up at McAlpine. I got getting into a Navigator. Yeah. Phenomenal.
That's all you got to do.
How many times did we back up and put that thing in reverse when we were doing the promo stuff? I was like, I got to get one of these things.
So I ordered one. Beautiful, beautiful trucks. I mean, the whole lineup was awesome. It was a great day we had yesterday.
Well, we ran some video of you guys getting T-shirts, and you've got enough Snickers to last you for a lifetime.
Guys, I have to plead to the public. We don't need Snickers handed to us by anyone that sees us, okay? A gentleman who seems like a great guy, he said, me and my son wanted to give you a Snickers. And he pulled it out of his pocket, and it felt like it had been between his butt cheeks for seven hours.

Chapter 6: How is Cole Caufield's performance affecting the Canadiens' playoff chances?
Give this to Hayes.
I said, yeah, fair enough. Well, I appreciate that greatly. And listen, I love it. I do love it. And I love that we got to meet a lot of cool people yesterday. It was really fun. And again, it'll be played, the Lincoln Cup on TSN, June 7th. You'll find it online. You'll find out the results. It's some pretty good action out there.
So all of TSN was there, right?
Yeah.
Well, no. I mean, what do you mean?
Duffy. There was cameraman. There was all sorts of people.
Yeah, Bardow was there. Duffy was there.
So people were messaging me like, no invite for me.
Well, you don't play golf. You've made a point for 15 years saying you hate the sport.

Chapter 7: What insights does Darren Dreger provide on Auston Matthews' future?
And I go, exactly what you just said. They're like, they know I'm not a golfer, so I'd just be in people's way.
Right.
But I probably could have narrated. I probably could have, you know.
No, I think you could be a part of that, for sure. I mean, listen, Duffy was playing the role out there. Like, Duffy was doing his best.
kind of dotty pepper cruising around he was like the old guy with the white hair on shell wonderful world of golf you know that old codger yes wander jack something that was nothing jd was crushing it yesterday so okay that's something to consider for the future i mean that's it you know what we had a good show talking lots yesterday i've heard big struts uh boy got drafted in the western hockey league i heard about that cool
That's amazing. And how did Strutty react to the Leafs winning the lottery the other night? Was he happy for everyone in Toronto?
I think he was, and he should be. I mean, you know, it was brought up, I think Ro brought it up. It's like, listen, you've been there before. When Edmonton was winning lotteries, I think when they got McDavid, he called into, I think he called into our show.
Yeah, he did.
He was gloating and stuff like that.

Chapter 8: What are the implications of Craig Berube's role for the Senators?
and you completely melted, then you ended up winning the lottery. So everything has been breaking the Leafs' way. They've been in two lotteries in 10 years. They've won both of them. So, yeah, the Leafs can't say anything. The Oilers can't say anything. Obviously, the Canucks are on the complete other end of the spectrum.
Well, yeah, they've got jobs. They've got jobs, for sure.
Yes, they did. And that's why I stick by what I said prior to the lottery, and I still feel it today, that I'd prefer ā No lottery at all. If you're last, you get first pick. Yes, just like they do in the NFL. Because the fans in Vancouver, they didn't put that team together. No. They didn't lead to Quinn Hughes demanding out. They didn't lead to the gong show that has been the Canucks.
They're great hockey fans. It makes sense, but guess what? I think the one... I think if you can look at Gary Bettman, the one negative you can take away is he just refuses to look at anything and alter it. It's like, why does this make sense? Oh, we like it. It's like the alignment. People have been begging for it to change, including the players. No, we like the system.
Why not try to be innovative? I mean, I think the NBA has gone a little bit too far with the Vegas Cup or whatever the hell it is, the in-season tournament. The play-in is somewhat successful. It garners attention. Why not just look at some minor tinkering? And just say, I think this can be better for everyone, especially the fans.
I think we're going to see change. But, Hayes, you've said this, so I'll just climb on top of it. The new commissioner. Whenever Gary Bettman sits down, I think the new commissioner will have an opportunity to probably put his own stamp on some of the things that he might believe needs tweaking. But keep in mind, I've said this all along. Gary Bettman is just an extension of the owners.
He does what they say. So if he's in that room with all these owners or chairmen of the board or whoever's in that room, and he's saying, guys, this is what's been brought to the table. They voted in. They voted down. It's not him going, guys, I'm telling you this is how it's going to be. It's the other way around. He works for the owners. They pay him, and he is an extension of them.
And quite honestly, I know he'll come back and say, we like what we're doing here. Parody, fan base is excited every year. You've got something different. I mean, I don't see how it's talking.
He's not changing anything. Here's the ratings in the States, I believe, are higher than ever. Yeah. The cap's going up. Again, I know where this is going to lead to. It's not rigged, but the biggest market in Canada just got Gavin McKenna, the first overall pick. Everything's kind of breaking the league's way right now. That's kind of what you need. You want interest. You want high ratings.
