The closest Grand Prix finish since Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barry Kellow apparently at the uh US Grand Prix where they basically fixed the staged, yeah. It was Schumi giving the win. Whether well I still don't think he was giving that win, but that's My
understanding was that Shumi wanted to just get make it as close as possible and he just won all the time. So he's like, you know, it doesn't matter if I lose. Of course he would have wanted to have won, but yeah, Barakella got the win that day, didn't he? But that's So is it is it the closest natural finish, would you say? Like Like, I'm not sure.
Before that, 'cause people have gone like side by side across the line and stuff back in the sixties and stuff. But yeah, the closest stage since then, and this was actually, you know, legitimately for uh the win and um you know wasn't staged between two great rivals Yeah, gutting that Max got so close to it. Looking back now, I do think it was his only chance because as much as it was painful to watch seeing Max just almost get there, it does make me feel that had Max got by, George was so quick in that middle sector that he would have just been able to get the slipstream back on Max down the main straight. So maybe we'd have seen some yo yo racing up. little bit, but it that was the opportunity for Max Lead.
I cannot believe it. As soon as I saw Bottas in the wall I was like, Well that's it, game over.
