He is co-founder and president of Champion Physical Therapy and Performance in Waltham, MA, and has extensive experience with Major League Baseball, including the Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, and Chicago White Sox, where he developed programs to prevent injuries and optimize performance. Professor Tim Gabbett has over 30 years experience working as an applied sport scientist with athletes and coaches from a wide range of sports. He holds a PhD in Human Physiology and has completed a second PhD in Applied Sport Science, with special reference to physical demands, injury prevention, and skill acquisition. Tim has worked with elite international athletes over several Olympic Games cycles and continues to work as an advisor for several high performance organizations around the world.
