Will nobody think of the actors? From Beverly Hills to Broadway and the hallowed boards of the West End, professional thespians are concerned they may soon be replaced by AI alternatives. They will apparently soon look and sound just like the real thing, but they will be cheaper, they will only need one take, and they will presumably refrain from political monologues at the Oscars. The question is whether the public will ever accept it and whether they should. Well, Tom Conti is a legendary human actor, Oscar nominated and a West End stalwart. And Tilly Norwood is the world's first AI actor, now starring in her first feature film called Misaligned. And they both join me now. Well, Tilly Norwood, welcome to Uncensored.
