Chapter 1: Who is Jesse Solomon and what is his background in music and reality TV?
Welcome back. Okay, so today I have the pleasure of having the ultimate dreamboat. Oh. The only person on Bravo that actually flirts more than I do. That's saying a lot. What an honor. Jesse Solomon. Now, Jesse is on Bravo's Summer House, but with the release of his new single, Back Pocket, I feel like actually we have the next Michael Boulay on our hands. Hello!
Welcome to Please See Below, my brand new podcast all about perfecting the art of oversharing. Here, we mention the unmentionables and talk about topics and things that no one wants to say out loud, but everyone is desperate to know. Maybe you're more musician than reality TV star.
Maybe. I just like music that makes me feel something.
Yeah.
Chapter 2: What inspired Jesse Solomon's new single 'Back Pocket' and his musical influences?
And so I'm just trying to... Create something new, but also take things from the past and emulate my favorite artists. And I think that's what music's all about. It's like carving your own path, but also sharing what works for other people.
Right.
And I studied jazz in college. I went to the Frost School of Music at University of Miami. And I might as well put my degree to work, you know?
Yeah.
I have this platform now. I love making music. I love being in the studio with cool people and just, like, making shit that sounds good. So it's not, like, so serious.
Yeah. Well, Back Pocket does sound good. I was shooketh when I heard it.
Thank you.
I don't know what I was expecting, but it was very soulful.
People are like, oh, it's not horrible.

Yes, it's not horrible.
No, it's – Yeah. I mean, that's the – yeah, it's definitely not horrible. But then it's also very surprising. It's pleasantly surprising. It's just very soulful.
Thank you. I really appreciate it.
Yeah. It's cool. It's dope. As a little icebreaker, considering your musical background, which I'm very impressed by, could you make a little jingle for my pod? Because it's new and we need new music. That's not copyrighted.
Yeah. Yeah. For sure.
It's called Please See Below.
Please see below. Please see below. Everybody you know. Brands hot for show. I love it.
Oh, my God. Like, I can workshop it.

Chapter 4: What are Jesse Solomon's thoughts on relationships and dating on reality TV?
sex playlist it would be like marvin gaye classic um the temptations like that's what i grew up on yes it was like stevie wonder same and all that yeah so you can hear that influence in your music it's wild yeah it's really cute thanks um okay where's another icebreaker if you were sandwiched
what would the sandwich be like? What would it taste like and what would be included?
That's such a good question.
Include all the fixings.
I mean, what's coming to mind is like my go-to sandwich order at a deli.
Okay.
Um... It's turkey with bacon. Bad Drew, but like whatever.
Shame on you.
Munster cheese, pickles, hot sauce, brown mustard. Okay. Toasted on like a... I don't know, whatever bread's fresh that day. So like you've got your protein, but you've got like a little bit of fun.

Chapter 5: How has Jesse's battle with cancer influenced his perspective on life and relationships?
And I respect that.
Yeah, and I respect that. But I know, and I have the experience, and you learn this. I learned this in my 20s and 30s, is that you can put that requirement on people, and you'll get it. But it's not... The same as getting it organically. It's a little bit of like mandated and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
So I always tell women to like, no, make them earn it and get what you deserve and have them commit to you 100%. But at the same time, I know that when I put that stipulation on men, sometimes they will give me what I want, but it's actually not what I need. I needed like true commitment and that you willingly devoted yourself to me, not just because I made up this rule.
Whether you hook up right away or whether you wait, it's just kind of like prolonging if the relationship's going to work out. Like they're either your person or you're not. I do respect when girls want to put a timeline on it because I think if they hook up with a guy and then it doesn't work out, it hurts way worse for them.
For sure.
So I respect timelines. But she's like, you're going to know if you want to be my girlfriend within 30 days. And I was like, that's my boyfriend. I was like, a little weird, but I respect it. It's probably true.
Were you like, I got to run out the clock? Or you're like, I'm just going to post up a screen, just go in for the layup real quick.
No, I felt like I was running out of time.
Yeah.

Chapter 6: What challenges does Jesse face with social media fame and handling public opinion?
That was his thing. But he – Wise West. He does look at the comments and stuff. Like he used to work in social media and still kind of does. So he's like very ear to the ground, Twitter, all that. But I've been able to like – As time has gone on, more and more so completely removed my emotions and self-worth and all that from the haters.
Jesus Christ, you haven't figured it out.
It's near impossible. It's impossible. Because the human brain is not meant to see this stuff on the internet.
Right.
Like cavemen didn't have the internet.
Are you sure?
Like they had like the people around them and like people either talk shit to your face or you just.
Yeah.
Ignorance is bliss.

Chapter 7: What is Jesse's approach to maintaining mental health and positivity amid reality TV pressures?
Nice. Well done. There you go.
Knock on wood.
Is it hard? Could be. Shut the camera. No, but that's – I have this theory that people who have – when I watch you, and it's so amazing to watch, and I hope people feel this way about me. I like all your cast, but it's – when you come on it, like, I get excited. I'm like, it's fun. No, but it's fun.
I'm like, he's going to say something funny, and you can tell you don't give a fuck that the cameras are there, and you are being yourself, and, like, you are enjoying life, and – Maybe you're a little imperfect. Sure, everyone is. So it's truly a joy to watch you. And I wasn't really a Summer House fan.
That's so nice.
Yes, it's true.
Is there a but?
No. I have a theory of people like you where I think it comes from a place where you've been through some shit. I just don't feel like you can get to this place where you can do this and be that person. real and great, whatever.
It's because you've been through some shit and then you're at this place where it affords a certain level of perspective that allows you to be so real and so crazy and just goofy, right? Because some people get on and they are fucking crazy, but it comes from a different place. But I feel like yours comes from a very different place.

I'm back for one more. It was America's birthday.
Yeah.
It's patriotic of you. You got to do your duty. Totally.
My mom was so mad at me.

My mother.
