Why are all these people celebrities, reality stars, athletes, housewives, people who already know how to perform for a camera? What would this game look like, we wondered, with regular people, strangers, unknowns, people with nothing to promote and no pre-existing reputation to protect. Well, somebody listened. Welcome to The Traitor's New Blood. We are Wilfred L. and Ryder Strong, two men who once believed removing celebrities would reveal the purest possible version of this game.
And now we get to find out whether we were right or whether we fundamentally misunderstand why anyone watches television. didn't get that. So I was sitting here taking notes going, well, the first thing I wrote was this is some Game of Thrones shit because there's ravens and letters. But then when I saw the train, which goes into a CGI, I was like, oh my God, this is very Hogwarts. They're all getting letters. They're all getting called. And then we go to their train station. where we were introduced to funeral director Joe.

Joe, who has never left the U.S. And he says, oh, it's like we're going to Hogwarts, except everyone wants to murder each other. Yeah. Which was a great line.
It is, but at Hogwarts, a lot of people want to murder each
other.
So it's not that big
of a difference. I had that thought too. Yeah. That's what I'm
saying.
All right. Then we met Madeline after we get some shots of some deer. And Madeline works in construction. She's a woman who works in construction.
