But you can pinpoint... what you want to bid on, meaning like you can do comics, you can do animation cells, you can do cards.

No. Oh, yes, you can. Magic the Gathering cards. For $52,000. That's the first opening bid. They have a signed Christopher Rush Black Lotus. Whoa. Alpha edition. So it's like it gets so specific of the things that you can bid on, and I still don't know how to use the site, and I'm kind of thankful that I've tried to create my own page a hundred times.

And so, yeah, there's so that now right now, like the thing that got me into it was I saw an email just like a mass email saying they're selling Matthew Perry's estate is being auctioned off like all of his stuff. And he was a big Batman fan. like a huge Batman fan. So I wanted something Matthew Perry that was Batman related. And there's a couple of things I was going to bid on and I couldn't make it work. I was so pissed. I couldn't make it work.

Um, so yeah, I just, I didn't know what it was, but I wanted to put that on y'all's radar, which might not be the smartest thing to do for Danielle, especially. Yeah. I don't, I don't need to buy more stuff. They have signed first edition books. I stopped buying first edition books when I was 18. So I still have, I just don't... I don't know. Like, I got... I realized that wanting to own those books... it was like a way to sort of like, I don't know. It just, it just didn't, I, it felt like what I was actually wanting was like sort of like an authority over being a fan of something. Like I was like, Oh, I'm the biggest fan of this Faulkner book. That's why I have the first edition. And I was like, but if I just like the book, it's just the writing and it's the text.
It's not the physical object itself. And so it felt stupid to like spend a thousand dollars or whatever on, you know, The object. But now I'm kind of proud that I have some of them. Exactly. I know. I know because they've been with me for so long and they actually have increased in value. So I know.
How about a first edition of F. Scott Fitzgerald's Tender is the Night?
I love that book. God, that's a good book. I got to reread that. How much is it?
It is. Well, it's so it's up for auction right now. The estimate is that it'll go for eight to twelve thousand dollars somewhere in there. Wow. But let me see if it has already been like when the auction starts. It's open. It's open. The starting bid. No one's placed a bid yet. This is on Sotheby's. This is not Heritage. The starting bid is fifty five hundred dollars. A lot closes tomorrow at twelve forty seven p.m. So you could have it for fifty five hundred dollars.
There you go. I had a dog chew up my first edition T.S. Eliot. Yeah. Which dog, was it Gordy? No, it was a dog that we were watching. It was a dog that we were considering adopting and then we didn't. Yeah, this is in 2003-ish. Yeah. So I have a tooth punctured copy of Proof Rock and other poems.
