20 Nov 2023
(00:00-27:11) – Query & Company opens on a Monday with Jake Query, Brendan King, and producer Eddie Garrison touching on the IU basketball and Pacers games from yesterday. They transition to the Indianapolis Colts by focusing on the remaining quarterbacks the team will face now that Joe Burrow was ruled out for the rest of the season. (27:11-44:49) – Legendary voice of the Indiana Hoosiers in Don Fischer makes his weekly stop on Query & Company with Jake and Brendan to recap the Hoosiers loss to UConn yesterday, if there’s concern about the slow transition from high school to college that Mackenzie Mgbako is going through, how many games it’ll take before we know what kind of team Mike Woodson has, and what the Hoosiers can take away from their loss to UConn to help them the rest of the season. (44:49-48:58) – Hour one concludes with Jake calling for Robin the Genie to ask Brendan which four teams he thinks will make the College Football Playoff. (48:58-1:13:18) – Co-host of the Wake Up Call with KB & Andy in Kevin Bowen makes his weekly appearance on Query & Company to access how the bye week went for the Indianapolis Colts, ranks the top three quarterbacks that the Colts will face the rest of the season, tries to predict how many wins the Colts will need out of their final seven games in order to make the playoffs, and previews tomorrow’s show. (1:13:18-1:30:17) – Indiana Pacers beat reporter Dustin Dopirak from the Indianapolis Star joins Query & Company to discuss if the four days off attributed to the blowout loss to the Orlando Magic yesterday, access if Buddy Hield is in a slump or if he’s still adjusting to his new role within the offense, highlights how long it’ll until the game will start slowing down for Jarace Walker after looking confused in his minutes yesterday, and preview tomorrow’s game against the Atlanta Hawks with a win clinching the Pacers for the knockout stage in the in-season tournament. (1:30:17-1:36:58) – The one o’clock hour concludes with Jake admitting that he was wrong about Formula 1 racing in Las Vegas. He shared his opinion on how the race went for the sport. (1:36:58-2:01:34) – The final hour of the show starts with a couple callers calling in to voice their opinion on two different things. One caller questioned why Jimmy Cook wouldn’t try to get out of jury duty. The other caller shared his experience in Las Vegas with the F1 Race. Jake and Brendan transition to the future of IU basketball because he believes players aren’t coming to Indiana because they want to play for the program. He states that players come to IU for what the program can do for them. (2:01:34-2:14:34) – IU media legend George Montgomery joins Jake and Brendan on Query & Company to access Indiana’s loss last night to the UConn Huskies, where his biggest concern is right now with the Hoosiers and previews this afternoon’s game against the Louisville Cardinals. (2:14:34-2:24:02) – Today’s show ends with Brendan asking Jake which position he would want on The $100,000 Pyramid. They also touch on IU’s game against Louisville this afternoon and the start of the season for the Butler Bulldogs!Support the show: https://1075thefan.com/query-and-company/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
