(00:00-27:36) – Query & Company opens on a Wednesday with Jake Query, Jimmy Cook, and producer Eddie Garrison trying to remember what day of the week it is and Jake sharing two news flashes. They then transition to the Indiana Pacers and deciphering who their rivals are ahead of their game tonight against the Milwaukee Bucks and Indianapolis Colts with the focus of their discussion being on the Colts wide receivers with and without Anthony Richardson. (27:36-45:06) – Last night the Purdue Boilermakers picked up a road win at Maryland. Jake and Jimmy share their thoughts on the win, explain why this Purdue team is different compared to last year’s team, and examine what should concern Purdue fans when the NCAA Tournament starts in a couple months. (45:06-48:29) – Hour one concludes with Jake admitting that he is infatuated with the Tag Heuer website. Somehow it leads to him revealing some trivia regarding Yoda and Bert from Sesame Street. (48:29-1:15:26) – NFL.com’s Eric Edholm joins Query & Company on a Wednesday with Jake Query & Jimmy Cook to look at the teams in the playoff picture in terms of pretenders and contenders. He also shares his thoughts on the second matchup between the Colts/Texans, if he thinks Joe Flacco has another month of magic in him to lead the Browns to a Super Bowl and admits that he wants to see what the environment would be like in Detroit if the Lions and Los Angeles Rams end up facing each other in the first round of the playoffs. (1:15:26-1:30:39) – With the Milwaukee Bucks and Indiana Pacers set to face off one final time in the regular season tonight, Jake and Jimmy briefly mention the debate from the top of the show as to whether these two teams are rivals. Additionally, they praise the way Bennedict Mathurin has grown the last month and the importance of T.J. McConnell to the team. (1:30:39-1:37:00) – The one o’clock hour concludes with Jake, Jimmy, and Eddie sharing their cologne of choice after receiving a couple tweets from listeners pertaining to Jake’s collection. (1:40:10-2:02:55) – NBC College Basketball Analyst Jordan Cornette joins Query & Company for the first time to detail how great Caitlyn Clark is for Iowa. Additionally, they discuss what’s different about Purdue this season compared to last year, reveals what the expectations for Purdue should be this season, praises the job that Josh Schertz has done at Indiana State with them taking on Evansville tonight in a big conference matchup, and previews IU’s road game tonight against Nebraska. (2:02:55-2:17:11) – Jake, Jimmy, and Eddie shift their conversation to the Indianapolis Colts with their playoff hopes on the line this weekend against the Houston Texans. They provide an injury report and then start examining which teams the Colts should hope they face in the first round of the playoffs.
