Description

(00:00-24:48) – Query & Company opens on a Tuesday with Brian Noe, Jimmy Cook, and producer Eddie Garrison talking about the Pacers dominating victory over Victor Wembanyama and the San Antionio Spurs. Additionally, they discuss the playoff percentages for teams now that we’re past the halfway point of the NFL season. (24:25-42:52) – The segment starts with Brian, Jimmy, and Eddie discussing Wembanyama losing the tip last night to Myles Turner in connection to the most anticipated tip-off in college basketball history between Zach Edey and Samford’s 5’7’’ Dallas Graziani. Eventually they start discussing some of their failed bets, struggles for the Jets offense last night against the Chargers defense, and question why Aaron Rodgers would want to return with the way the offensive line has performed for New York. (42:52-49:32) – Brian and Jimmy close out the first hour of the show by discussing promotions that Samford did leading up to last night’s game against Purdue. (49:32-1:19:16) – Scott Agness from Fieldhouse Files and 1075TheFan.com joins the program to reveal if he was shocked that Myles Turner was able to win the tip against Victor Wembanyama, admits that he likes the starts that the Pacers have gotten off to in games following their struggles last season and that he doesn’t like the way the defense has looked thus far, and talks on what he believes has resulted in the Pacers getting beat. He mentions the players need to improve their individual play before being able to improve anywhere else. He also says that Pacers coach, Rick Carlisle, needs to lean into the players having the freedom to make the call during the game. Brian and Jimmy wrap up the segment sharing their thoughts on the new in-season tournament, the NBA Cup. (1:19:16-1:31:53) – Brian and Jimmy bring back the discussion about the Colts game this past weekend against the Panthers and their decision to use the tush push. Brian talks on his list of pet peeves/annoyances about certain plays, rules, etc. (1:31:53-1:40:00) – The one o’clock hour concludes with Brian sharing his “Heartbreak Hotel” experience with his bets. (1:40:00-2:05:21) – The final hour of the program with Brian, Jimmy, and Eddie starts with Stephen Holder, Colts Reporter for ESPN talking about Josh Downs’ injury and other issues the Colts will have to overcome in upcoming games. He talks on what Colts have been most and least consistent on for their season so far, and which players have had the most contributions to the Colts playing good football. He compares these attributes to the upcoming opponent, the Patriots. (2:05:21-2:21:04) –Brian and Jimmy are joined by The Wake-Up Call’s Kevin Bowen to get his input on Tyrese Haliburton and the Pacers’ offense. KB points out differences between the Pacers and their upcoming opponent, the Milwaukee Bucks, and what is going to make it an exciting game to come. They switch gears to talk about the Colts and their season. K.B. mentions there could be concern for the Colts in their game against the Patriots because the Patriots are skilled in stopping runs, and the Colts should be preparing to work around that. (2:21:04-2:30:34) – Today’s show ends with Jimmy sharing the JCook Plays of the Day, Eddie sharing a couple bets, and then some notes from around the NFL!Support the show: https://1075thefan.com/query-and-company/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
