Pacers Sign Garrison Mathews + Will Philip Rivers Start Sunday? Matt Taylor, Tony East, Brian Neubert Join!

(00:00-25:44) – Query & Company opens on a Thursday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison highlighting the new studio and their excitement, mainly Eddie’s, that they aren’t in the same room anymore. After that, they discuss how things seems to be pointing towards Philip Rivers starting on Sunday and Garrison Mathews being signed to the Pacers roster.    (25:44-35:26) – Jake proposes the question as to what we would be talking about if Daniel Jones doesn’t get hurt because he thinks that there is a really good chance that Jones receives a contract extension despite the season ending injury. He also loops Anthony Richardson into the equation.  (35:26-43:12) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake Query receiving the first listener call in the new studio with a listener disagreeing with his take in the previous segment about Anthony Richardson and Daniel Jones.   (43:12-1:10:54) – Brian Neubert from GoldAndBlack.com joins the show to discuss last night’s win for Purdue over Minnesota after being demolished by Iowa State last weekend. Brian tries to pinpoint what injury Braden Smith suffered last night in the first half and weighs in on where things are at in the offseason for Purdue football.  (1:10:54-1:19:48) – Jake and Eddie touch on the Pacers deciding to part ways with Jeremiah Robinson-Earl so they can retain Garrison Matthews after reaching the maximum number of 10-day contracts that a player can sign. They highlight the things that they have liked with what he has brought.  (1:19:48-1:30:00) – The second hour of the show concludes quickly with Jake Query noting how Notre Dame and the Indianapolis Colts are in the same boat.   (1:32:02-1:57:10) – Tony East from Locked On Pacers, Circle City Spin, and Forbes Sports joins the show to discuss the decision by the Pacers to sign Garrison Mathews to a contract for the rest of the season, highlights the different number of contracts that a player can sign in the NBA, provides an update on Aaron Nesmith, and weighs in on the reported interest the Pacers have in Walker Kessler.  (1:57:10-2:08:53) – Voice of the Colts, Matt Taylor, makes his weekly appearance on Query & Company to preview the upcoming game for the Colts.
