I'm going to tell you what. It was Saturday's game, which was a Cubs 6-2 win over Minnesota. But there was, in that game, there was someone I would call. I don't know that you guys have called this. Layla has referred to it this way. There was some sexy baseball at a moment in that game. Let me take you to the Cubs' second inning. That is where the kicker is that Miguel Amaya gets a two-run double.

It makes it 3-1 Cubs. But what led up to that was downright sexy. That is Nico Horner on first base with one out. Pedro Ramirez at the plate. Challenges. Strike three. He wins the challenge. Instead of striking out, he walks. So the Cubs now have first and second with one out instead of a man on first, Nico Horner, and two outs. The Cubs eventually in that inning have runners on first and third with two outs and Dansby Swanson because of Minnesota allowed for where it says, you know what I'm going to do? I'm going to steal second. He steals second. Runners on second and third. Miguel Amaya with the two-out magic. Two-run hit. That is smart, sexy baseball by the Cubs. Yeah. Oh, yeah. I felt all of that. That was my favorite part about the Cubs winning weekend at Wrigley Field against Minnesota.

He struck out four. He gave up a home run. He gave up a tie-on. But he only gave up one tie-on, and that's all the damage that was done. Yeah. And here's what I realized in watching that. I was like, wait a minute. Matthew Boyd. I am too sexy. Am I looking at this right? Matthew Boyd, every time he steps on the mound, the Cubs, they score runs. And now, when Matthew Boyd pitches in a game, they're 8-2. Okay. More workmanlike performances out of Matthew Boyd, who, by the way, has gone at least six innings in each of his last three starts.
