Thank you for saying hi. I'm thrilled to join you. And let me just ask a quick question here. Since you had Cube on yesterday and I'm on today, does that mean he was my opening act?

Okay. I'm going to own that. That's fantastic. Yeah, we're happy to have you on. How did you get to be a part of this, the league that I feel like is growing in popularity? Well, you're absolutely right.

Amy Trask 1:36

It is growing in popularity. I'll say one note about that before I tell you how I became involved. We're going up against the World Cup this year and people thought, oh, that's going to be tough. That's going to be tough. Well, you know what? There are challenges associated with it. But our attendance is up and our ratings are up and the league is thriving, not just surviving, but thriving. I became involved with the league in the very first year that it was started. Year one, Cube and Jeff approached me. It didn't matter to me what vision they had. I trust those men. I admire those men. I respect those men. And if they had a vision and invited me to be part of that, I was thrilled to join them. And they have pursued their vision with relentless passion, relentless determination.

What do you think has been the biggest key to the year-over-year growth that I know it's been tough because you've been, what, through a pandemic? You've survived. As you said, you're now thriving. What do you think has been the biggest factor in the continued growth of the Big Three?

Well, I believe in the adage that hard work matters. Hard work really, really matters. Work as hard as you can. And when you don't think you can work any harder, find a way to work harder. And that's what Cube does. And that's what Jeff does. And that's what Clyde does. Now, look, there are other reasons as well. We have spectacular coaches. You guys know this in Chicago. Your coach for the Chicago Triplets is Dr. J. We have Nancy Lieberman.

How did Amy Trask get involved with the BIG3 and when did she join the league?

We have Steven Jackson. We have phenomenal coaches. I won't name them all. and tremendous players. This weekend, the triplets led by Dr. J is going to face the LA Riot. Dwight Howard is on that team. The game is good. The players are great. And one thing I learned, or I should say I heard over and over and over again throughout the almost 30 years I worked with Al Davis. The players are the game. We have phenomenal players. We have phenomenal coaches. And it's a great game. It's fast. It's fierce. We have a four-point shot. I'm going to still practice that because it's not going so well for me.

But Nancy Lieberman is trying to coach me up. Nancy's a great coach. And I think what we're seeing, Amy, in this is it's also a celebration of basketball. There's a whole lot of people who just outright love the game. And I feel like that's the group of players and even people who watch in the crowd get when you're consuming big three.

Well, you're absolutely right. It's a love for the game. And what Cube and Jeff and Clyde and the big three have done to the game is make it even more exciting for fans. It's half court. It's three on three. As I said, there's a four point shot. We have a bring the fire challenge.
