When you guys do finally get to it and watch it, you'll see the offense looked as bad as you thought they would look. Receivers running into each other on routes. Quarterback not getting the ball out. Guys not blocking too many penalties. Looked like they drank the poison last week on offense. By poison, I mean... you're great you're doing good never believe it man better walk in that locker room with a chip on your shoulder every week in the nfl because guys are coming after you so but that all that all didn't matter man when caleb went down right that all deflated the air left the stadium silence in the stadium man i mean when caleb went down and then i thought to myself a guy who has six athletes in my house from this generation coach high school football coach i thought hey
Sometimes these guys do get carded off and do come back. You know, our generation, Jared, if you got carded off, it was over, man. The guy was done. But this generation, you never know. And sure enough, we got good news that Caleb might be all right because I thought it was an Achilles when I first saw

It was a combination of everything from what I saw. You know, obviously the weather, first of all, it doesn't make it easy. I played football at University of Washington in Seattle, and that rain was like it was yesterday, right? And that's tough to play, and the ball handling is tough. And you got a running back sitting next to you. He'll tell you how that slick ball gets tough. That's the worst weather to play football in on offense, right? That constant rain that never stops. I'm sure they did wet ball drills at practice. They dipped the ball in the bucket out of the center. You saw the Viking Center. Snapped the ball over Carson Wentz's head on third and two. You saw the fumble on the second play of the game by the Chicago Bears that Kayla picked up and ran for 19 yards.
You saw drop passes. You know, I heard a lot about tight end, the young tight end, Rouse, dropping the ball. Justin Jefferson was dropping the ball. Let's fire him, too, for dropping the ball in the rain yesterday, right? So it was just a tough day to play offense. But also on that film, guys, there's a lot of penalties. Guys can't get lined up. Delay of games. receivers running into your to each other like you're talking about david confusion in the run blocking and the pass blocking scheme sometimes uh the quarterback just needs to step up and get the ball to guys over the middle of the field that are coming open uh those things were a challenge yesterday obviously like i talked about with the weather out there but on that film it's not a pretty film for the chicago bears offense whether or not because i tell you what man even you guys remember against carolina they lacked discipline with penalties right and they overcame them
