You need to be positive when you're talking to players and stuff. So here's Here's the positives. First off, that run game, extremely impressive. Obviously, Darnell Wright, Jonah Jackson, the way they were just ejecting guys, moving guys, I think they might be one of the, if not the best, right guard, right tackle to uh duo in football. I mean, it was very impressive. I thought Braxton Jones blocked hard. He was really good in the run game. Obviously, Joe Tooney's Joe Tooney wasn't his best game, but even his, it's like Pizza. Ev even his even the average stuff is pretty good.
You know, Joe Tooney's Joe Tooney. Garrett Bradbury had some concerning snaps, which concerns me a little against uh against Minnesota when we get to that, because they do like to run a lot of cross dogs, confuse the center. He wasn't moving as well as I had hoped. But overall, how mad could you be about the guy when he was a part of an offensive line that rushed for 291 yards? O-line looked great, pass protection. run game, the running backs, the contact bounce, the yards after contact, Kyle Manungay and DeAndre Swift were both in the top ten in the league. Like these guys were were running through tackles. The blocking From the receivers. Is very very impressive. I watch a wall watch a lot of all 22.
It's uncommon when you see the play Kyle Menungay scores. You see Khalif Raymond coming and crack block that safety, and then you see Jodie Walker with the butt block. This isn't common. There's a reason there's players that we call Ben Johnson guys because that's not typical. I watched all 22 of the Eagles game, Eagles when they beat the commanders, I watched the Jets. Jagars, I watch the Packers, the Vikings, even watching college games. That's not common to have all these guys r blocking them this hard and together. And I think that all goes back to Ben Johnson. He does the the run install. It's the first time I've ever heard of a head coach doing a run install with the entire team. Usually you separate into your segments and do the run install.
