What is the opening intro and sponsor message for the show?
The SCO- This hour is brought to you by Menards.
Same big money having eyes. The views and opinions of Layla Rahimi, Marshall Harris, and Mark Grody should not be taken too seriously. Especially when they give advice. Do not take Marshall's analogies literally. Especially when it comes to Russell Dorsey. The sports thoughts of Raheem, Harris, and Grody may change at any time. It's just sports. Okay, thanks, bye. Rahimi Harrison Grody, ten to two on
one oh four three the score. Gabe is is just like me when it comes to Bears preseason football. Bears in Cleveland along the lakefront tomorrow at noon. I'll be there. I know you'll be doing postgames. I'll
be doing postgame on the score. I'll be watching it at my house. But what I told Grody, the way the conversation started was, I said, Grody, preseason, shmi season, you put on a Bears helmet, you got a jersey, I wanna watch you and I wanna cheer for you. Every bit of it. It doesn't matter.
I love guys who like football. And guys who like football, they like me back, and I like them back.
It's about to go down. Favorite parts about
preseason?
Oh, I mean I just love the start of seeing the Chicago Bears play football. I remember going downtown with my buddy Fez. I'll name check my buddy Fez. This is like years ago. I think like circa early two thousands. It might have been like a Cade McNown situation. That might even be even before that. But we went out downtown. We're like, we're gonna go to watch the Bears preseason game. This is where it is. We're gonna drink beers, we're gonna get burgers, we're gonna watch Bears Preseason football. We watched the first quarter. Too good. I'm home. I just got goosebumps. Wow. Kegs and eggs in football. Let's go. So there we are. We're watching the Bears game. And it's like the first quarter. You know how it is after the first quarter, things go haywire.
That's where you see your Deion Hankins's and your Royce Freeman's and your Joel Wilsons, who, by the way, all scored touchdowns for the Bears in the pre-seat. Absolute studs, man. It's the the end of the first quarter. My buddy Faz is like, all right, dude, let's let's go. Let's go to some other bars. Go where? Why? Exactly what I said. He's like, dude, what are you talking about? Like we're just gonna just give me a bunch of third force triggers. I go, I don't. Uh don't get out of here. I I wanna see every instant.
Someone's gonna get hurt and I need to be talking about this guy from a from a vantage point that I've seen him before and I've seen him dominate.
They kick off. Our day night's gonna be you watching me watching football.
There are things to watch. Like I was mentioning some guys like Savon Ahmed. He's a running back, by the way. He has looked very good in training camp.
Savon Ahmed taking in on that check down. What
a cutback. How loud. Off of a foot injury, trying to make a name for himself. It's a touchdown for Savon Achmed.
Football is life. Layla Rahini, Marshall Harris, Mark Grody. Middays 10 a.m. to two on Chicago Sports Radio. 1043, the score.
All right, let's begin our Monday shouting out Savon Ahmed, who had a very nice game. Fifty-five yards, three catches, that'll work. And then 17 yards on the ground. We'll take it. This is Rahimi Harrison Grody. I'm one of four three the score. How does it feel to be psychic, Mark?
Oh, feels really good. I'll I will see your Savon Ahmed and just for the heck of it, I'll raise you at Caden Davis because I believe Gabe and I mentioned him as well. Four catches, eighty-eight yards, and all sorts of the full varietal of catches in the game as well.
And a couple of nifty blocks. I saw him setting the edge a couple times. And you know what Ben Johnson says. No block, no rock.
Feel like nifty is the old fetch but the new fetch because we're out here forcing nifty. But that's okay because it actually describes what she was saying right there, as opposed to the Mark Grody way of just saying the word to say the word. Look, man, the game was fun because the Bears, uh, after, you know, having some hiccups early, they they kind of just rolled.
