What is discussed at the start of this section?

The views and opinions of Layla Rahimi, Marshall Harris, and Mark Grody should not be taken too seriously.
Chris Emma 0:06
Especially when they give advice. Do not take Marshall's analogies literally. Especially when it comes to Russell Dorsey. The sports thoughts of Rahimi, Harris, and Grody may change at any time. It's just sports. Okay, thanks, bye.
Bye. Bye. Rahimi Harrison-Grody, 10-2 on 104.3 The Score.
Mark Grody 0:25
Adam Amit, Bill's play-by-play announcer, joining us in studio.
Chris Emma 0:29
Jason Bonetti and I connected the other day, yesterday, and we were chatting. Actually, the day it happened, on Sunday, because he called me when he found out the news, because he was in Chicago, he was doing the Cubs game. And we were kind of silent for a second. And in perfect Benetti fashion, he goes, do you remember when you guys did that game in the studio, the Sox game? We don't see that every day. There was like a two-hour or something rain, a three-hour rain delay. And Stacey ordered P.F. Chang's. for dinner like on doordash or uber eats or something how spicy would you like your chainsaws oh man i have no idea what's going on and he the guy couldn't find the entrance and stacy had ordered like 80 bucks worth of chinese food and the guy couldn't find the entrance so he ordered it again and we never got the food during the rain delay this is michael scott yes hi
Chris Emma 1:26
And then we had to call, like, a not very fun Sox Royals game from the studio. And he never got his $175 with the PF chicks.
Is that DoorDash guy delivering food straight to Kevin's door? I thought the dash was on us.
Chris Emma 1:58
And Benetti didn't even have to bring up the whole story.

Who is Adam Amin and what stories does he share?

Chris Emma 2:01
He was just like, remember when you guys and the delivery guy and we both just started cracking up.
Can I get some, give me the hot sauce on the 50 pence, please. Oh. Layla Rahimi, Marshall Harris, Mark Grody. Midday's 10 a.m. to 2 on Chicago Sports Radio. 104.3 The Score.
Mark Grody 2:23
Our most sincere thank you to Adam Amin for coming in yesterday in our studio and sharing stories about Stacey King. If you missed it, strongly recommend checking it out on our Odyssey app, on our Rewind feature, and also our featured clips. This is Rahimi Harrison-Grody on 104.3 The Score. On this Wednesday, Mark Grody is in. Layla Rahimi is in with you. Last night, I know we're on an office kick, Mark. I know you love watching The Office. I do too. We talk about it a lot. We heard Tyler Buterbaugh's open where The Office was mentioned yet again. That was fantastic. But... If last night wasn't watching the Cubs and the Sox at the same time last night, if that was not the episode of dueling Christmas parties where you have Angela's Christmas party, the Nutcracker Christmas, and that's the Cubs game.
Mark Grody 3:14
And then you have Margarita karaoke Christmas for the Sox 80s broadcast. I don't know what is that was. That was clearly the winner was Sox game 80s broadcast Braden Montgomery out of a movie. Get the call up and then walk it off with your first career home run being the day you get called up in a walk-off situation. You could not have written it better last night.
Chris Emma 3:38
No, you could not have. And I guess the one good thing about what you were saying with the dueling games is it made it a lot easier to know which game to follow. focus on, because that is always... I have two conundrums during Cubs and White Sox. You don't know which game to focus on. You have to kind of guess. You have to kind of feel your way through it, and you can have both on, but you know what I mean, that you can focus on it. It's also, Layla, very difficult for me to get my daily dose of office episodes in while I'm trying to watch a Cubs game and a White Sox game. But no, barely a problem. Yeah, it's like you're watching Eduardo Julien hitting another... RBI hit. A new Cubs killer is born.
Mark Grody 4:20
Getting the Joey Weamer award.
Chris Emma 4:22
Is that word of who Julianne left?
Mark Grody 4:25
Weamer!
Chris Emma 4:25
Not Weamer! Weamer is the opening day enemy of the Cubs and Matthew Boyd. Oh my goodness.
Mark Grody 4:33
Getting the who's this guy today.
Chris Emma 4:36
That Derek guy, like on the White Sox. But last night was great. All in a game, by the way, Layla, which ended triumphantly.
