Bahimi Harrison Grody on one oh four three the score. We are to be joined by Herb Howard to talk Bears. Howard of the Bigs will be in studio momentarily. I don't know, somebody has held him up in our hallways.
Lawrence Holmes was bringing him up and uh they probably having a conversation about the burden of it all. Covering the Bears. The burden being out for the rest of the preseason.
Oh man. Pre-season hasn't even started. Burden some is I would like to say. Yes. If you hadn't heard per Adam Schefter today, Chicago Bears wide receiver Luther Burden the third is expected to miss the preseason due to a strained groin injury he suffered on Saturday. But the Bears believe he should be back for the team's regular season opener versus the Panthers. Panthers per sources and I guess that's really all that matters. Will he actually be back for the game against the Panthers? I mean, I'd like to think he would be, but I wouldn't even say that that would be a slam dunk until I see him on the field. It's like Justin Steele. When I see him, I'll believe it.
What's great is that we know that Ben Johnson has told us just because an insider sent out word via social media that there's a timetable doesn't mean that that timetable is accurate. So I I also would like to hear from Ben Johnson on both his you know, how long he's out. And also let's go backwards and let's go back to Kobe Bryant and see if we could get that nailed down what the timetable is on his return.
Oh my goodness. I mean there's just so many like yesterday the parade of of players that were not participating yesterday, Kobe Bryant, Terrell Smith, Jalen Jones, or do you say Yalen Jones, DeMarco Jackson, Braxton Jones, Montez Sweat. The good news is um that Xavier Thomas apparently, you know, he's he's injured as well. The report per Courtney Cronin is That Xavier Thomas, who left practice on Sunday during seven on sevens, knee injury, is not expected to miss much time per resource. Per Cronin, I'm told that she's dealing, excuse me, he's dealing with soreness in his knee and is likely day-to-day in his recovery, shouldn't be out that long. Unfortunately, that is what the the preseason has been about, and it's really bugging me.
You guys gonna play as open or no? There's Beat

for the Bigs.
Herb Howard is joining us. Herb
Howard is here from the Bigs. Herb joins us in studio right now and and Marshall. He smells great. And that to me, that is
bonus points. Herb immediately showed he was gonna be somebody asking meaningful questions. He's gonna ask a question that everyone else in the room is gonna want to know the answer to.
Brecht now, have you ever had a fight? Had a fight? You ever had one? Yes. Yes, I have.
Well thank you so much Her for joining us. This has been a lot of fun.
It's always fun with you guys. You are absolutely amazing. I listen to you guys when you don't invite me, so it's really cool.
We'll see you in here tomorrow, buddy. In here live in studio. Can't wait.
Yeah. Oh I'm looking forward to it.
That's what he that's what he's obsessed with.
I'll make sure I'm ready for you, Grody.
With Rahimi Harrison Grody. Get a talk of this guy. He smells great. I'm telling you. On 1043, the score.
He's here. He made it. Herb Howard has landed in studio after apparently being intercepted by people on his w en route to the studio.
Yeah, I I I got intercepted by the great Lawrence Ho Holmes and and then He couldn't get in. It wasn't me. They wouldn't let him up. What happened? I don't know. He's a security threat to it's a technical thing. I don't know. He's like You're Lawrence Humps, you sure? You are you sure you're Lawrence Hums? I I think so. Whoa, must not be Smitty down there then. Yeah, no, it was a computer thing. The guy was a little flustered. He had a lot going on. There's a ton going on in the lobby right now. So, you know. Okay. It is what it is.
Just another day over here, Prudential Plaza.
