Uh we're good, but we're not the ones who observed the uh A drama on the field and with an incredible crosstown game, and then B Uh did you know what was happening in the stands? There were some fights in the right field bleachers. I know you man left, but still.
Yeah, you couldn't miss that one.
I yeah, we're we're looking at other angles of the film right now. What were you guys observing?
Uh I mean yeah, the crowd saw it, the crowd got loud, it was it was t it was a bad one, it was it was tough. Tough scene out there. Um and Yeah, I know that that happens. I know that I know that the the games get a little bit intense, especially when it's back and forth like that. But um man, it's it's a really great thing for the city when both teams are good. It's an electric atmosphere. It's a lot of fun. Um and Hate to see that happen during the game because man, that was that was a great one.
Yeah, ca sound kinda sounds like you hated what you saw. And I gotta be honest, man. Watching the video makes I was just watching it and makes me want to puke. So I mean, you you've been in this city longer than anybody that was on that field yet. Sounds like you kinda hated seeing that.
I didn't love it, yeah. I mean I I I think You know, we have a lot of mutual respect for each other across the field. Yeah. Um, a ton. Like that that's a really good team. They got a a bunch of really good players. You know, Will Venable obviously was on our coaching staff and um did a lot for me in my career.
What was the atmosphere like at Wrigley Field during the comeback win?
I love Will. I think he's fantastic and and um, you know, there's just a bunch of mutual respect on on the field. So I hope that that's shared amongst uh the forty thousand people that'd be there tonight. night because man, it's it's great for like I said, it's great for the city when both teams are good. And, you know, I'm I wish those guys nothing but the best, uh uh the besides the six games that we play. So um, you know, I I like I said, mutual respect is uh there's a lot of that going around on the field. Heard.
You talk about crosstown atmosphere. To me, Ian, it really did feel like we picked up where we left off when Edgar Carrow hit the walk off in the third game of this series and the way that PCA and Saya jump out and the way this game just went back and forth and another extra inning affair. It d did it feel maybe a little different than a regular game just because of the way the fan bases get into this thing?
