I'm glad to be doing this with you all for many reasons, but also got me out of the room. There's six wives in there doing their hair, talking about double moisturizers, and you know the drill. So good to be out walking around with you guys. So you're over at the Chicago Theater or at least walking around right now and getting ready for this thing. What's the vibe like? Are people hanging out and enjoying each other, starting to drive each other crazy a little bit perhaps as well? Yeah, so we got on yesterday morning because my daughter was adamant we go to the Noah Conn concert at Wrigley last night. We did that, saw Demp, had a great time, was hanging out with Rossi and Lackey was there. Guys are starting to roll in more than today, but we've been kind of conversations in passing.
Everybody's a little busy, kind of getting ready for tonight. Rizzo and Ross left early to go to the theater because they're two of the main guys putting this together. I'm going to head over in probably 30 minutes. Energy's high. Vibes are great. We're getting excited for tonight and the rest of the weekend.
When you look back now, 10 years ago and just that run and then sometimes when we get away from it, you're such an awesome dad and husband and family guy and being there and we get away from baseball and now you get to be around these guys. What was that feeling like just being in the stadium last night? That energy almost had that energy. I mean, it had the energy of a World Series. That's what that concert was like. And here you guys are together again. Had to be pretty special.
Yeah, you're right, man. And you were on a lot of great teams, as I'm sure you're on some teams that weren't so great. And, you know, the unique thing, and I'm going to talk a lot about this tonight, you know, while we're on stage and around a lot of the fans and my teammates and their families and seeing their kids you know, 10 years older or some, like Rizzo has, you know, a young baby now who obviously will never get to see him or remember him play.
