And seeing everybody from the Odyssey family, uh, they greeted me this morning with a lot of love. And as Grody said, I'm giving out hugs to everybody today. Oh

I got the and I'm sure people have had this in life where somebody comes from behind and gives you the hind hug and you have to kind of guess. Yeah. Who it is, like who is that behind me? And then I was like, I recognize You

vow just now and you just glossed over it.
Well, but in in studio we had Adam Amine, who is also one of the great huggers of all time. So but but it'll it'll go down. It'll

go down. It'll happen. I'm excited about that. Um, we are we're so thrilled to have you here, man. Like, like I love that I could say that genuinely. I love that you are a teammate of ours. You've obviously been on on the score and been, you know, I guess you call it part time at the score while you were performing full time work for WGN all of these years. So you were kind of a teammate, but now you're a full time teammate. And just to see you, and that really hit me today. Oh. Oh, this is awesome. I get to see and talk to but in the hallways and on the air every day, Jared Payton. So I feel blessed, man.
Well I I appreciate that. I am I told you guys during the break I I love you, Groats. You're my boy. But I am super excited to get to know Layla a lot better. You know what I mean? High five. High five. Yes. I've known her from afar, not really had a chance, and always talked to her. I know people that know her and they always say great things, but now I get a chance to really get to know her. I've always respected what you've done from afar. I know how hard it is. You grind harder than anybody that I know. And so, you know, respect is always you always show people respect.

And so I've always done that from afar. and now I get a chance to do it inside the same studios as you.
No, I it's our pleasure. You know, we're thrilled. And I I think like I go back to when uh occasionally I would fill in for Mark Chinowski over at NBC Sports Chicago and I would get to go up to Hallis Hall. And Gordy's always heard me talk about laughing because Zach Zaydman at the time was there. That's when you were on the Cubs beat. Yeah. And then he and Adam Hogar harassing Chris Emma and I'm cackling. They had free Dr. Pepper. You know, then there was like I think at the time it was John Fox and uh Dowell logins and Dowell's telling you about some defensive look he'd never seen before. But I thought it was great. I thought it was great. And part of the reason is because I get to just talk to you and Dan Jiggitz.
And and the conversations that you guys had, I was thrilled by. I was like, this isn't real. Like, I'm not listening to these two talk right now. These are OGs, these are legends.
