At the same time, if you're the Dodgers – and you see the possibility of a Mizorowski scoop, well, that'd be something that could potentially stop you from winning a third straight World Series.

If they were able to pull this off... I would have a lot of respect for the Cubs in that it is filled with risk. There is no doubt about it. But that's all we can ask our big market baseball team to do. That's all we can ask the Chicago Cubs to do. A team that in 2016 reset... the standard at the very least winning postseason series. And if not that, getting to the World Series. So while I get it, It's not ideal in that, as you correctly pointed out, it would most likely just be a rental. And then there you are. Let's play the feud. Now you're in the game. You got to do real damage in the postseason to feel like you can justify it. But I would have a lot of respect for them to do that if they were to pull it off, even if you had to look away a little bit at what they potentially would have to give up. That said... It's going to be really hard for the Cubs to pull this off because of Tampa Bay, because of the Dodgers, because of Milwaukee, who all have better options in the minor league.
