In today’s episode of Figuring Out, we have Navdeep Singh in conversation with Raj Shamani. He is an Indian para-athlete and javelin thrower and won a gold medal at the 2024 Paris Paralympics. In this episode, we talked about his childhood, how he developed an interest in sports, his journey in wrestling, why he stopped playing wrestling and how he got introduced to Javelin. We then talked about his entire training in detail, the lifestyle changes he made, and his entire experience till the day of the final game. We also talked about his experience travelling to different countries and funny memories with his team. Towards the end, we talked about everything that happened on the day of the game, how life changed, and how people treated him after he won the gold medal.
