And so later, Eric comes to town and they get together at a hotel and they hook up, and after his trip, he leaves and he goes back home to Austin, Texas, where he's from.

But Bill, he's still a jealous and controlling guy. And at one point, he snoops through Layla Love's phone again, and he finds a text thread between her and Eric, and he gets super pissed off. And so he goes and he looks up Eric on the internet, and he realizes that the guy's family owns an automotive group and that he's very wealthy. So Bill gets the idea. To blackmail him. And so Bill gets Eric's number and he texts him anonymously. And he says that he needs him to pay him $25,000, or he's gonna expose the fact that he's been seeing an escort to his wife and family. And that he needs to pay him by March 11th. And when Eric gets this text, he freaks the hell out. I mean, this is not only gonna screw up his marriage.
But it's gonna destroy his reputation among his country club society friends. And so he panics, and he has no idea who's trying to blackmail him. So he turns to the only person he can think of for help. This guy, Glad. And Glad works in private security and he's done some work for Eric's auto business in the past. Plus, he used to be a private bodyguard for Charlie Sheen. Of all people. So, you know, that's cool.
How do the hired goons uncover Bill and plan the hit?
Anyway, Eric tells Galad that he's being blackmailed. And Gallad's like, well, just go to the police, bro. But Eric doesn't want to go to the police. Because that would mean that he'd have to admit that he was sleeping with an escort. So he tells Gallad, find out who's blackmailing me. So Glad goes and he hires some goons to help him out with this task. And these goons, they start looking into Layla Love, thinking that maybe they can find the blackmailer that way. And so they find her real identity and where she lives in Nashville. And then the goons travel from Austin all the way over to Nashville to start surveilling Layla Love because they want to see if maybe she's involved in this extortion plot too.
