Hello everyone and welcome to the Big Brother28 Roundtable Podcast. This is, of course, the podcast where we talk about everything from the feeds of Big Brother28, and we rate the players from one to ten based on how well we think they're doing in the game. Plus, we go over all kinds of other survey results from you, the audience, or maybe not you if you didn't fill out the survey. In which case, not you, but other people like you or not. not like you. I'm your host, Ern Armstrong, and with me as always is Melissa. How you doing Melissa?
I am doing great. What a week of Big Brother. This has been uh just so much fun. When it's good, it's good. And uh yeah, I was uh it was so much fun. I was at home this past week uh with my family. My brother was there as well. And so first of all, it was like Dennis's first time watching Big Brother ever this week. And this week. And then uh my brother, he had not been keeping up with this season. And so then he it was his first time watching this season. And of course, my parents were watching and it was so much fun to watch with them. We put the wall comp up on the big screen in our house and we did like a whole thing. It was it was awesome. And I made my brother listen to the morning updates on our drive to Colorado to and from.
So now he knows everything that's going on. And it was, ah, it was it's the perfect week for that. It was fantastic.
It was an interesting week. I expect a lot of things to be changing here. Uh, both in the ratings, the rankings and all kinds of things. And with us to give his opinions on the ratings and the rankings and all kinds of things. It's Matt Lagory. How you doing, Matt?
I am so good, truly so good. I've been so excited uh to do this podcast. I've uh uh we were just talking about this is my first ever time doing my own ratings here on a uh round table. And uh what a week to be able to hop in and do that for the first time ever for myself. It has been so much fun. The feeds have had multiple moments in the past seven days of get to your feeds now. Uh, you know, obviously towards the tail end of last week. Uh And then with the HOH results this week that just could have gone in a completely different direction and even the past couple of days, looking ahead to what the rest of the game is going to look like based on how this week is going, it's been a lot of fun and I'm so excited to be here.
Yes. All right. Well, of course, as I mentioned, this is the podcast where we talk about what's happening on the feeds this week. The last time we had this podcast, a week ago, it was Haley's HOH and it was Haley's World. And Things were looking bleak. The audience was rating the season quite low. Uh, the enthusiasm was not quite there. But since that time, we had a blindside vote flip. Lyric was evicted. Lala won the wall comp. It's like I'm reading fanfiction right now. Um, she nominated Chuck, Haley, and Barrett for eviction. Camu won the veto. He changed. chose not to use the veto. As of right now, one of Chuck or Haley will be leaving, but, you know, there's always a chance, not a very big one, but there's always a chance with these people that Barrett could leave.
The main headlines here are primarily that this vote flip happened because D m primarily D first, finally recognized, oh We've spent four weeks just kind of assuming that Drew wasn't loyal and kind of sucked, but I think maybe he's loyal. And then they were like, okay, let's keep him then. Uh and in addition to that, had a conversation with Lyric, where Lyric seemed reluctant to talk negatively about Chuck, Camu, and Haley. Uh, and so she thought Lyric's too much of a number for them. Melody and Drew can remain targets in the house. Melody's not winning any competitions. So they flipped the vote to keep Melody over. Lyric, did they need to do it in a blind side? No. Was it fun? Yes. Yes. So uh so that brings us to this week where Lala is the HOH, a bit of a wild card.
She initially was looking at targeting Devons because she's not forgotten what he did to Rome, and they've you her and Taylor are kind of looking at the icons a little funny.
