Chapter 8: What advice does Brandon Foo have for aspiring entrepreneurs?
Many of you call me and tell me you love my email marketing. I have a very secret tool that I use to do it. And it was so coincidental when Clay acquired the tool, it was called Drip. And I use Drip. I'm going to tell you how I use it later on in the episode. But if you want to use it right now and get the first 60 days free, go to NathanLaka.com forward slash Drip.
I'll tell you my favorite feature and why I use it later on in the episode. Nathan Latke here. This is episode 480. Coming up tomorrow morning, you're going to learn from Tanner Larson. He sold over 4,400 flashlights at $79 a piece at a $23 cost of goods sold and a 55% net margin. His company is called True Gunner. So how are you doing it? Folks, Nathan Alatka here. Good morning.
And our guest this morning is Brandon Fu. I think you're really going to enjoy him. He is the co-founder and CEO of Polymail. Polymail is an email platform designed to make businesses and companies more productive. Previously, he co-founded Control Collective, a co-working space in L.A.
He graduated from UCLA, where he co-founded Bruin Entrepreneurs, which is now the biggest entrepreneurship organization at UCLA. Brandon, are you ready to take us to the top? Absolutely, Nathan. Let's go. All right. Very good. So why don't you kick us off? Tell us what Polymail is and how you generate revenue.
Absolutely. So Polymail is a super powerful email client designed for business users. So you can think of it as the ultimate email productivity platform for work.
With one app, you get everything from message tracking that tells you when people have read your emails, follow-up reminders, contact enrichment, calendar integration, a bunch of really powerful features in one seamless interface across desktop and on mobile.
And so how does it work? Is it a Chrome extension or is it like Mixmax or it's a total email overlay? So Polymail is a complete standalone email client.
So we have an app on Mac and we have an app on iOS. You download that and that's the only app that you'll need for email. So in addition to being a full email client, we give you all the features. You know, I mentioned that previously you would have to install multiple Gmail web plugins. We provide all those features like message tracking, contact enrichments.
follow up reminders directly from our native interface.
