Chapter 1: What is the main topic discussed in this episode?
This is The Top, where I interview entrepreneurs who are number one or number two in their industry in terms of revenue or customer base. You'll learn how much revenue they're making, what their marketing funnel looks like, and how many customers they have. I'm now at $20,000 per talk. Five and six million. He is hell-bent on global domination. We just broke our 100,000 unit sold mark.
And I'm your host, Nathan Latka. Yesterday, you guys heard me talk with Rich Brooks, who broke down how to run a profitable conference at 200 bucks a ticket. Okay, Top Tribe, our guest today is Brandon Epstein. Now, Brandon is an author, a podcaster, and an explorer of the ultimate human experience.
His current focus is zendudefitness.com, which includes all kinds of great information, an amazing story, and a top-ranked show. Brandon, are you ready to take us to the top? My man, I could not be more pumped for this.
Let's roll.
Awesome. Well, first off, zendudefitness. What the heck is this? What does it mean?
Yeah, man. So Zen Dude Fitness is kind of like the anti-community for people who want to get into fitness but don't necessarily want to be a crossfitter or a yogi or a vegan or a paleo person and just want tools where they can create their own unique experience, of course, in Zen Dude fashion, right?
In Zen philosophy of really deciding like, you know, what do I want this experience to be like for me and how can I make it unique and how can I make it an optimal experience? And so that's really what we're trying to give people.
And so help people understand what the focus is. So again, you're obviously in the physical space, mental, mind, obviously Zen, right? You go on your Instagram account, there's all these pictures of you like jacked. It makes people like me jealous. But help people understand what you're selling specifically.
Yeah, so specifically, we're just selling, making fat loss super simple and super fun because fitness marketing has just sabotaged the way people view this whole process of getting in shape. And it's just, it's honestly, can I swear on your show?

Chapter 2: What is the main focus of Zen Dude Fitness?
What is this? The Zen Dew Fitness.
Exactly. And so right now we're just building this community, this movement, and people are just funneling into coaching clients. So I just am doing kind of high level coaching. For how much?
How do you price that?
So it's $500 a month. And I do four sessions a month with my clients.
So it's like a smart personal trainer.
Yeah, so here's my belief around all this stuff.
Not saying that person trainers are stupid or anything, but you've got business intelligence and you understand, obviously, weightlifting and healthy living.
Definitely. So my goal with every client that I work with is to give them the tools to create the body they want. That's what everyone wants when they get in. But then everyone comes to the same evolution and realizes, oh shit, like, so I have a six pack now. Well, I'm not actually any happier. Like this didn't, this blueprint that I had in my mind that was going to give me this fulfillment.
Yeah, it's fun to have a six pack, but like, it doesn't like solve any of your problems. Same way that, you know, having a billion dollars doesn't solve all your problems. So we kind of take them through the evolution of moving past like, okay, let's create these rituals to create the body you want. And let's create rituals in your life to just create more fulfillment. You

Chapter 3: How does Brandon simplify the fat loss process for clients?
And we do things like, you know, working like features for webinars they're doing and features for, you know, different brand ambassadors they have. So it's a little bit more complicated. But our streamlined service is just really optimizing your Instagram account, everything from making sure your profile is,
uh, you know, your, uh, username to your profile image, to your bio, to, uh, your link out to the landing page that people are linking out from Instagram to the content, the color palette, everything in your page is optimized. And that's like where we start at the $300 a month price point to get this all on point for you. Cause a lot of people, uh,
uh, really have no idea what they're doing to Instagram. And it's absurd the amount of engagement you can get. So that's where we start. And the packages move up to $600 where we're posting three times a day for you. And, you know, for companies like athletic greens and Andrew cannoli, they're, you know, their company is generating really, uh, you know, very nice revenues.
And so we do customize packages of them and charge a little bit more to give them very nice revenues.
Yeah.
Um, pretty sure AG is doing over like 30 million a year. Athletic greens. Yeah.
And what percentage of that would you say is directly correlated to the Instagram account?
We've launched it about a couple of months ago and I think we're doing around like thousand or so to start. And yeah, You know, Instagram is really this like thing you invest in for the future because, of course, more followers you get, well, the more engaged potential customers you get.
And so in the beginning, it's like, all right, we're breaking even, but we are, you know, continuing to build the audience. So the more followers you get, the more revenue you get.

Chapter 4: What revenue streams does Brandon utilize for his business?
Number one. What is your favorite business book?
My favorite? Man, I love the spiritual stuff, so I'll go with Think and Grow Rich just because it just shifted the way I saw what was possible.
There you go. Napoleon Hill, right?
Absolutely.
There you go. Number two, Brandon, is there a CEO that you are following or studying right now?
A CEO that I'm following and studying right now? Man, I always like to keep tabs on Elon Musk because he seems to always be on the brink of future technology. So I'm always looking at him. Peter Diamantis as well. I love what those guys are doing.
And for those of you that don't know Peter, go check out his new book. It's called Bold. I'll link to that in the show notes as well. Number three, Brandon, what is your favorite online tool like Evernote?
Yeah, I think my favorite online tool is probably Basecamp. It's just like an easy way for me to communicate with all the contractors I'm constantly working with on a consistent basis.
Awesome. Now, I have a feeling I know the answer to number four because you're a pretty balanced guy. But again, you're building this empire. I want to know if you're doing it in a healthy way. So yes or no. Brandon, do you get eight hours of sleep every night?
