Chapter 8: What are the advantages of using Morgan James Publishing?
I love it. I love it. Well, hey, thanks for coming on. First things first, I just told you before the call, this book deserves more credit. I don't know why more people don't read it. It's called Writing Riches. It was my book of the day the other day and loads of people bought it. So thank you for putting it together.
Well, thank you for your kind words. I was delighted to get your email about the book and about how you felt about it. And then I was knocked out when I saw you recommend a book, man. It goes up the charts like crazy.
It was really something. Look, I just sold my company, Ray, so I can actually get a book a day read and I'm really just enjoying the heck out of that reflection time.
I love what you're doing with that. Thank you.
Thank you. Well, hey, so let's dive into this. So help me understand first, what's your main, we'll just say in January, what was your main revenue stream? Is it book royalties? Is it speaking? What is it?
My main revenue is at this point in time, selling training programs online, teaching people how to write copy for their business to sell more of their stuff.
Okay. So tell us more about that. What's the link to the site where you sell this course?
Well, it's not currently available for sale. It'll be opening back up in the 1st of April. Right now we're selling a book, a new book called how to write copy that sells, which is kind of the updated version. It's not kind of, it is the updated version of writing riches. And we're actually giving that book away for free if you pay for the shipping now.
Oh, see, I love that. And by the way, guys, it's a gorgeous blue cover. I bought it actually last week, Ray. I'm diving into it tomorrow. So I'm looking forward to reading that second book you put out. Help me understand maybe a good place specifically with your background would be let's break into how this kind of whole publishing world is changing so drastically.
