He scaled two websites to over 1 million visitors a month and helps startups grow traffic and users. His growth hacking talk was voted best workshop at South by Southwest in Las Vegas last summer.

Chapter 8: What advice does Vincent give for increasing website traffic?
So first things first, man, you do all kinds of stuff, but help people get really clear and focused. How do you make money and what do you sell?
Sure, so I help people be better at what they do and running their startups. So I may give them consultancy and coaching over Skype. They may read my book on Kickstarter right now. They may- What's the book called? It's known as the Growth Hacking Playbook. So growthhackingplaybook.com. And I'll talk about that in a little bit.
But yeah, so I give a lot of talks and people may just come to my talks and absorb all that information and that's just fine. Or maybe they hire me and that's just fine. So I'm happy either way. Like what I wanna do is I give people the most value. Like I was on welfare benefits three years ago. So I know what it's like to be really broke and wanna grow your company.
So I don't go to a talk and say, it's all about having good communication with your team. It's all about building authentic relations. There's a conspiracy among social media marketers. We tell you it's all about having engaging content because then you try it, it doesn't work, and then you hire us. So I go to people and I go, okay, go and use Charlie app.
Type in anyone's email address and it will find all the public information about them on the internet. What's that app? Charlie app. Just Charlie app.com. Charlie app.com. So you have someone's email, then you can see, Oh, they're into, they're into this sports team. So you can say, I love the San Francisco 49ers. And they're like, wow, that's my team. And then you have that connection.
So you can socially engineer them. You know, that's an app I'll tell people about on my talks. I'll tell them about email hunter type. So type in any company web address and you'll find all of the public email addresses of people who work at that company. So you can then like, you know, harass them.

Um, so, uh, like getting a cold email is good, but warm emails better. So discover.ly, um, go on anyone's LinkedIn profile and it will show you all of the Facebook friends you have in common or go on anyone's Twitter. You find all the LinkedIn connections you have in common. So you can then say, uh, I need to reach out to X. Can you give me an intro? So that's really good on the sales side.
