And then, you know, we had this. joyous day planned. It's final match day for FIFA in Vancouver. Go out, watch it, and then spend some time on Granville Street. So it was an emotionally taxing day yesterday, and I can only imagine for those of you who were 650 listeners, who were 1130 listeners, how difficult it was to... negotiate, especially if you were planning on, you know, FIFA frivolity, to have that news hit you in the morning and then carry on with your day.
Needless to say, something was lost here in Vancouver yesterday. You know what I realized?
I'm not going to hear Thomas Drantz's erotica. Andy Cole's intros. I'm not going to hear his giggle as much. Thomas. Oh, my God.
So good. Andy did such a great job. Andy, one of the guys we worked with back at the old station, really talented guy, actually. Musically inclined. Exactly. Musically inclined guy, one-time touring music. Put together those intros on how- He and Mike Rogers would get around famously.

We had bigger budgets. They were just so nerd out, the two of them. I can only imagine. Yeah. especially on the board, right? With the mixing and oh my goodness. Um, we have Jody Vance on the program later. Once upon a time on Sportsnet television. I don't know about you. I woke up every morning and watched Jody do highlights once upon a time. Uh, She thought the news was purposely delivered yesterday thinking the FIFA storyline in the last match day in Vancouver would avalanche it in terms of news cycle.
If I'm thinking strategy, my thought was more just that we need to get past a few signposts that the radio station helps us promote, which is the draft, which is free agency. Right. Once they're done as a promoting vehicle for those two signposts. Because, of course, FIFA, not a Rogers property.
