That was actually Elise Perry's. She might have mentioned it maybe a few weeks before that final, and I just didn't give it any airtime. And yeah, when we won, there was cameras ready. And unfortunately, there wasn't a free bottle of champagne to be able to fully recreate Warnie's moment. But yeah, the Budweiser beer did the job.
Well, I hope that's all you're copying at the moment, Sophie, and just let the rest slide. Where are you at the moment? Where do we find you and what are you actually doing? Because on screen it says you're involved in the 100 at the moment. Is that correct?
Yeah, yeah. I'm down south playing at Southampton. the Tundra competition and yeah it's really enjoyable it sort of had had a week and a half off in between in between the World Cup and starting this comp so yeah sort of was able to come down a little bit from the the World Cup win and got straight back into it so that's been good.
Now, I have heard you're a bit of a sporting nuff. You do love your sport. You ride into the SEN family, which is terrific. Tell us a bit about your passions, your sporting passions. Who do you follow? Are you an NRLer or you're a Bairnsdale girl? You'd be an AFL lover? Yeah.
Yeah, I'm a Bensdale girl and I'm also an SCN lover.

I just hope you weren't listening at about 6.25 Melbourne time this morning. So we sort of lost our way. Yeah, we sort of lost our way a little bit. But the summer, it's a big one. So T20 series against New Zealand, that's in October. There's an ODI series against them as well. So how is, I guess, the size looking? Terrific, but difficult to form your 11 for different formats or not?
Yeah, it is. It's a good problem to have, I suppose. We've got a really deep list now. Even over here in the World Cup, we had 15 players over here and all 15 could have played easily in that final. We're in a really good position in that sense. There's a lot of cricket to come over the next eight, eight months and starting with a home series, which is really exciting. And, yeah, I'm sure the whole mentality is that the next person in will be able to play a role for the team. And, yeah, looking forward to being able to do it on home soil.
Should be a huge buzz next year when the women's ashes is on at the same time as the men's ashes. That must be something you're really looking forward to.
Yeah, absolutely. It's really cool. I haven't been a part of a Nash's over here in England and just looking at the scheduling, we've got a test at Headingley, a few games at Lourdes and all the iconic grounds that you sort of grow up watching cricket at and to be able to do it alongside the men, yeah, that always gains so much attraction, not only over here in the UK but back home as well. So to be a part of that and, yeah, hopefully we can come home with two urns.
