Chapter 1: What is the main topic discussed in this episode?
Breakfast with Gary and Tim. Well, it's all right.
I tell you what, Whispers, I was up at People's First Stadium up on the Gold Coast and the Hawks took on the Gold Coast Suns. There was a few questions about the Hawks, their centre-bound stuff. Well, they put them to bed. They were very, very good. And this man who's about to join us was in the best three or four players on the ground, no question about it. Dylan Moore. Welcome, Dylan.
Well done on Friday night. Magnificent performance.
Thanks, lads. Yeah, pleasure. Pleasure's all mine.
You found the goals again. You're back into some good running form. What was it about it that you were most happy with when you came off the ground?
Right from the start, it was just hitting the scoreboard. I think first half of the year, I've been pretty inconsistent. I haven't kicked a goal in quite a few games, which isn't my go.

Chapter 2: What insights does Dylan Moore share about his performance after the win?
So I was really happy after the bye to come back and, yeah, hit the scoreboard.
That was a great win on the road against a team that was on the bounce as well. And they got off to a great start. Were you surprised at how quickly you gathered yourselves out there on the ground? And maybe who is it out there that's sort of orchestrating that amongst the players?
I wasn't too surprised.
because we speak about momentum a lot as a football club, and as a leadership group, I know the boys a lot of the time are talking about how can we get momentum back, and we actually had South East Phoenix, the basketball team, come in mid-year, and they spoke about momentum, and especially on defense, they said the momentum change doesn't mean one action or two actions, but for basketball, it's three stops in a row, and that's when they know they can get momentum back.
So for us, we've kind of taken that philosophy a little bit further It might not be one tackle or one spoil. It's not the second one, but the third one, that's when you can get the momentum back. So I feel like those words are spoken out in the field by everyone and we're able to get the momentum back and then capitalise ourselves.
So is somebody out there actually saying that and delivering that message to you all so you can be reminded of that? Does that take place?
I feel like it's all in our line groups, to be honest. So, like, the backs will get together and speak about it. The mids will get together in the forward line. We'll speak about it and just say, like, for us, it might not need to win the contest, but we've got to half the next couple of contests. So that's something that we always speak about, especially after goals.
I feel like most teams do it. They come together. Yep. And then you speak about what's important now and, like, let's do that.
Out of sight, out of mind. World Day goes out. We haven't seen him play for a while. He comes back. He's had a couple of games. And then at the weekend, he just explodes like that. How high is the ceiling on this bloke?

Chapter 3: How does Dylan Moore describe the team's strategy for gaining momentum?
I feel like good training for the last month. He's been doing all of that. And we're like, we can't wait to get him back in the side. Once he's been back in, I know he's been playing limited game time, so he's been showing spurts. But on Friday night, that was incredible. I feel like, yeah, for him, he could be a Bradley Mellis for the competition. He's an Australian.
He's an incredible player, and he does so much for our team.
I just haven't seen that power and that explosion from him before. Have you seen it like that before?
Yeah, I feel like, yeah, in training, especially the past few months, it's been incredible. I feel like he's really done a lot on his body. I know he's been doing a lot more like Pilates and strength-based stuff just to get his hips right. So he does that stuff a lot in training, impossible to tackle. And I was, yeah, really glad he got to put that on show Friday night.
And he was a big story. Newcombe was outstanding. I thought Josh Ward played one of his better games and is an important part of what you're doing through the middle of the ground.
Yeah, to be honest, I think we need the Warriors to step up this year, especially with Daisy out for the first half of the year. And we lost James Warple. Connor Nash has been struggling with his injuries. So we needed someone to step up in the midfield. Warriors have been phenomenal. I feel like he hasn't put a step wrong. He's time in the club. He's thirsty and wants to leave.
And, yeah, glad that he's getting some reward now.
Look, we probably need to address the elephant under the carpet. Oh, Tim. Can you win the flag without Jack Gunston? I was waiting for that.
I feel like we could, but... With him in the side, we're a much better side as well. So I feel like with him in, then we're a lot more likely to win the flag.
