Bucks has come back in, he's done the right thing. No, I think he's, well, I'm guessing, but I'm thinking he's defending the assistant coaches underneath him like a Stephen King was or like James Raleigh or like James Kelly, whoever it is, like Nigel Lappin, whoever it is, that are going, well, we sort of toiled away for 25 years at this and done our level fours and been in a good program and coached different lines and been across all sorts of things and up to speed with the modern game and then here's someone outside that's just going to be potentially gifted the job back. That's what I think.
Yeah, and my immediate thoughts are mind your own business, right? The Essendon Footy Club will do what they want to do and what every other coach in the land says about their decision, hey, have your say, no worries, but have no bearing on their process or their... Their thoughts.
And I also think he's genuinely impressed by Nathan Buckley as well. Yeah. I think there's a part of that that is actually true as well.
Look, I worry that if Buckley doesn't get the Tasmanian job, and it's become a highly sought-after job now. I think when the shakedown was on, we didn't think that Longmire and Hinkley would be in for this. And now that they are, the field's strong. So I don't know where it leaves Bucks. But if he doesn't get this opportunity, it's almost like this is the one. This is the one that he's been sort of readying himself for and upskilling himself for.
