Chapter 1: Where are the hosts broadcasting from today?

0.031 - 2.802 Tim

Breakfast with Gary and Tim.

0

12.907 - 35.136 Gary

Good morning, everyone. Great to have you with us. It's Wednesday, May the 6th, and we are on location. Oh, we're excited when we go out on location. You should see Tim. He's beside himself. We're at Chadston Toyota, 1547 Dandenong Road, Oakley. Drop in and see us. This is the most magnificent showroom you've ever seen. And some of the vehicles in here. Tim's been tyre-kicking.

0

35.156 - 52.021 Gary

He's been circling around the magnificent Toyota Hilux. Well, we've got a big show at the McCafe menu. Try Macca's drinks range. Tommy Lynch is going to drop in. The big forward from the Tigers on the back of their first win for the year. Andrew Russell for Wellness Wednesday. Zach Guthrie from the Cats. Got our top ten players for April.

0

52.783 - 61.094 Gary

The footy news and the big discussions out of seven o'clock as well. But right now we're rambling. Chaston Toyota style with a wisp. Good morning, Gary. Good morning, everybody.

0

61.194 - 63.216 Tim

Great to be here, Gary. You're very close to me.

63.536 - 74.408 Gary

Move over. I'm as far away as I possibly can be. We're in a very nice compact set up here, but normally you're across the table from me, but right here now you're right next to me. Is it uncomfortable for you? Very uncomfortable.

74.428 - 81.755 Tim

Have you got a new pair of micro cords on, have you, this morning too? No. Hang on, where did you get those from? I haven't heard about this.

82.076 - 82.656 Gary

No, no.

82.676 - 84.158 Tim

What the dickens is going on?

Chapter 2: What is the significance of the McCafe menu in today's show?

90.489 - 94.798 Tim

It doesn't look like great quality. Oh, that's still, oh, you would have paid plenty for that.

0

94.918 - 108.582 Gary

It's primo quality, my friend. They've got a little bit of stretch in them, too. Oh, yeah, no, they're very comfortable. You love a bit of stretch, don't you? It's a lot of pressure. Stretch out there. We're creatures of habit, you and I, so when we get called out for something like that. There's some anxiety. There is, there is.

0

108.763 - 112.528 Gary

Find out where we've got to go, where we've got to park, where the coffee machine's on.

0

112.908 - 133.296 Tim

Well, we've got the coffee, everything's good. We're here 12 months ago, so I knew exactly where I had to go. Got up very early in Shoreham. Apparently, when I left, Brando thought that I'd gone for the day and left him and I wouldn't be back again, so he started howling at 5 to 4 this morning. He's howling at the moon. Poor old fellow he is. He gets separation anxiety, he does.

0

133.276 - 143.379 Gary

Are you looking at a little car here at Chadston Toyota? Because when the salesman comes in, they'll be looking at you. It's got big, deep pockets. Plenty of cash on offer.

143.399 - 145.523 Tim

I can't see anyone from sales here at the moment.

145.624 - 146.465 Gary

What, six o'clock?

146.485 - 148.851 Tim

No, they do dress very differently, the people from sales.

149.091 - 158.041 Gary

They don't start at six. They're wandering here at some stage, and you've got your eye on a RAV4 over there, I see. No, it wasn't the RAV4.

Chapter 3: What interesting stories do the hosts share about their pets?

268.626 - 272.194 Gary

What's that day? 14 degrees with 15 mil of rain. Tomorrow? Yeah.

0

272.174 - 273.696 Tim

Yeah, no, there's a bit of rain about.

0

273.716 - 275.357 Gary

Some nice chill in the air there.

0

275.938 - 277.359 Tim

Are you prepared to call it yet or not?

0

277.399 - 288.47 Gary

No, no, I've called it. The seasonal change? No, I've called it. It's all done? When it cools down overnight, the weather's changed. So it's been beautiful weather, but it's been cooling down, but some fresh stuff's coming, which will be magnificent.

288.71 - 304.249 Tim

You know what we need to get? What? You and I. What? We need to get ourselves a nice nail gun. A nice, a nice... What do you mean? Well, Cocky Turner, he's got the six-shooter nail gun, and... Yep. He's got one in each pocket. Really?

304.269 - 304.81 Gary

Has he really?

305.05 - 305.851 Tim

Yeah, he wears it on his hip.

305.871 - 306.432 Gary

He's got two.

Chapter 4: What are the hosts' favorite toasted sandwich fillings?

474.364 - 494.607 Tim

People will know what I'm talking about. Anyone that went up to Surfers Paradise, the first time I've ever tasted them was up in Cavill Avenue. We stopped one day, bought them. What is it? It's like a toasted sandwich, an open toasted sandwich. So you just get, it's like the one slice, and then everything's put on top of the one slice. Open sandwich.

0

494.587 - 510.865 Tim

Yeah, no, but then it's on a toaster, but all the cheese... That's a grill. Yeah, exactly. That's exactly what it is. That's an open grill. Well, no, but it's called a finger. It's called a... It's not called a finger.

0

510.885 - 521.14 Gary

It's called a toasted finger. Gary, that's what it's called. Oh, it sounds like some footy trip style set up to me. I've never heard of that before. Yes, you have.

0

521.34 - 530.851 Tim

I bet you have one up there. When did you first go up to the surface of paradise? Tara Village, 1986. That's where we stayed. First footy trip. That's exactly where we stayed, 1978. Yep.

0

531.752 - 538.6 Gary

Pre-season. Morning, boys. I tried the Butcher Club New York ribeye last night. Boy, oh boy, wowee. Was it amazing.

538.58 - 568.452 Tim

definitely recommend that one thank you very much that is we only give you the good stuff and that is off you go hey we've got a lot to talk about a lot to talk about do you want to mention the Steve and Nick story yes I do because for two reasons one reason is that it's a great notification for everybody to go and get themselves a health check you tell the story though about how it all came about for Steve and Nick it's a big story good story in the Herald Sunday written by Johnny Ralph attribution Tim yes always

568.432 - 591.874 Gary

Yeah. We should go both ways. Stephen Icke is a really good man, Stephen Icke. He's a ripper. A nice bloke. One of the nicest blokes. When I first got to Melbourne, he was a beauty and remains a ripper anyway. Sticky. They call him Stick. He's the head of footy at Scotch College. Yes. So a great player. He was at the Kangaroos and then ended up Melbourne, best and fairest winner. And he...

591.854 - 611.432 Gary

Got an email from the AFL Players Association who are doing some great work and said, yeah, this is medical check-up day. Go and get yourself checked up. And he thought, yeah, that's not a bad idea. I'll take advantage of that. So he went and got himself checked. Two tumours or two melanomas. Melanomas, yeah. Melanomas. One on the back of his calf and one on his back. Yes.

611.452 - 619.92 Gary

And had them both removed. Big 15-metre scars. But had he not gone and had himself checked up, he could have been in all sorts of trouble. So what a good story.
