I don't even know where to begin with this. I have been researching this for the last several days, going through court documents, talking with people, going through old archival. And this has got to be one of the more disturbing cases that I have covered in a very long time, especially not only because of the existing current allegations and what's going on and why this whole situation was brought to the forefront, but because of all the background history, the pattern, the past allegations, the outcries, there's so much.
That goes into this. So it is one of those episodes where there is going to be a cross-pollination between people who either love pop culture or hate it and the traditional true crime, because this absolutely is a true crime case and is more appalling than a lot of the true crime cases that we talk about. It's just. It's unbelievable. Now, for those of you who are not in the pop culture universe, who don't watch Bravo or reality TV or Housewives or any of that, I'm gonna give you the backstory because you may not have any sort of idea at all who KJ Beerman is. Kim Zolsiak is best known for being a housewife on Bravo. She was on Real Housewives of Atlanta for gosh nearly a decade. She also was married to former NFL player Croy Beerman. And even if you don't watch Housewell Housewives. I would imagine you've seen clips of her on social media over the years, whether it's on the couch at one of the housewives reunions where Nini is yelling at her, close your legs to married men. Or when they say like buy wig because she wears wigs, or there's one where she's like drinking Pinot Grigio in her car playing a I guess it was a CD at the time or maybe an iPod, I don't know, of a song that she was singing on.

And she was on the show for five seasons. During those five seasons, she pursued a music career. She had that song I just sang to you, Tarty for the Party, in 2009, which became like a mega viral hit. Not because I think people were ever listening to it in a serious way, but more kind of like Luann from Housewives of New York.
