Hi everyone, welcome to a new episode of Love All. I feel like we have to get our groove back a little bit here. It's been it's been a few weeks since we uh since we had had our had our show on and that we got through this. But uh Blair, really good to see you. I feel like I saw you every day at the US Open, which was a treat. And um so I'm glad we uh can get back into uh into the show as well.
I know, same Kim. I feel like we made up for lost time at the US Open. From from the first time that we saw each other in the stands of court thirteen to uh sitting in the president's box, various Hall of Fame events. We did many things together, hitting on Ash. Practicing together. Which was, as I said in that video, the peak of not only my 2026 US Open, but the peak of US Open in general for the rest of my life. And it's all downhill from here. But that was such a special thing to be able to do with you. It just the US Open is such a weird blur. And then in addition to throw in the Hall of Fame induction in the middle of that, it is something that at least for me, Kim, you can I know you just got home from a college visit with Jada, but it takes me a good amount of time to recover.
You can probably hear in my voice that I have a full-blown sinus infection. So So welcome home to me. But it's it's so wonderful and all-encompassing. And then you get back to real life. And again, at least for me, I have to sort of recalibrate. There's like a re-entry period that I have.
I feel the same way. I feel like last night I came home and Went to bed this morning, I was like, Wait, I gotta get back into my like my mom mode, you know, making the lunches, like starting to prepare for okay, what do I do for lunch? What do I do for dinner tonight? I gotta go to the store, check the fridge, make sure there's like everything or nothing that, you know, that I need. And um, yeah. So when this is over, that's my next stop is uh go to the grocery store and and stock up and start preparing some food for the rest of the week.
Difference being, Kim, that sh you can actually prepare good food. My my children are like, Well, mom's home, we're gonna have Baboli pizza for dinner. Um But anyway, we're we're all doing our best. So great to be home. And uh yeah, great to get back in the swing
of podcasting. I I have garlic pasta, chicken meatballs, and some veggies on the menu for Teths. I'll be
right there. All right. See see you soon. Um but I before we move into uh what we want to talk about today, Kim, I do wanna just shout out all the people who came up and Said hello to us and we love the podcast. I took selfies with many of you. Ella eventually will get all those selfies for a carousel on Love All of all of our fans who have come up to say hi. I think it just means a lot because Kim, we've talked about this. Podcasting is kind of weird where we're talking to each other, we're doing our thing, we love what we're doing, but you don't really know if it's resonating until we see you guys out in the water. And that meant a whole lot to me.
me so same I really enjoyed it and at times I'm like oh thanks like you're like surprised and like it you know it it yeah it catches you by surprise when you're at the tennis uh but I feel the same way very nice and love that people share their story and share that they you know bought one of our recommendations and that they really enjoy it or things like that. So that was um yeah that's some fun interactions with with some tennis fans.
All right, so we are gonna talk some tactics and some results. Obviously, gonna go over the men's final as well as the women's final. And then because we are releasing on Thursday this week instead of Wednesday, much of the US open. Rehash has already been done. Kim, we are gonna go through our top on court picks and off-court picks of this year's US Open. Some of mine are kind of hipster and offbeat. I cannot wait to hear what yours are. And then we're gonna talk about tennis photo shoots, which I am excited about. And then we'll finish with rec room as we always do.
