On Saturday, when the news broke, I was actually ferrying my mum around as well, and then the phones going mad and needed to fulfil obligations for Sky Sports News. I was on the motorway at that point. I had to pull over, get off at a junction, and then do a phono with Sky Sports News, talking about everything that was going on. Got my mum there, and it was just it was just bedlam. So it was a quick turnaround, get my mum home, um, get changed, and get over to Anfield. To sort everything out. So I was surprised that ultimately Liverpool had made a decision like that because all the briefings that had come out of them were that they were going to keep faith with Arnislot. He'd be starting the new season in charge, but ultimately, when you look at the data, you look at Liverpool's form, you look at Liverpool's performances, and you look at the crowd reaction, maybe we shouldn't be too surprised.

Yeah, similar to Vinny really. Um it's been quite an exasperating season. So I was coming down from that and looking forward to a bit of a break, and then Saturday afternoon I've been out for a run and come back to a flood of messages about Liverpool's sack and honor slot, which I wasn't expecting to be honest, and I think I'm not alone in that.
