Chapter 1: What were the highlights of Tottenham's 3-0 victory over Cardiff?
Kane. The England captain getting a warm welcome here in South Wales, and getting himself into the box as well, Kane. Well, not the best goal he'll ever score, but it's timely. Tottenham Hotspur hit the front. Archer slid in, but he's missed it. Here's Eriksen, and it's two. Christian Eriksen, inside 12 minutes, has doubled Tottenham's lead here.
Here's Sissoko, powerful first forward from Kane into Song. And Son slides over the line.
They're all getting in on the act here.
Chapter 2: How did Harry Kane's early goal impact the game?
A 3-0 win for Tottenham to take them back to second in the table. Two of their goalscorers, Eriksen and Son, are with Greg Whelan.
Guys, very well done. Christian, it was straightforward in the end, but how welcome was that after Saturday?
No, a lot. I think we all know how it felt losing against Wolves at home. It was a very, very big disappointment and we had to bounce back. We were lucky with the first goal and a little bit of a toe punch and then afterwards we kept possession and had the ball for the rest of the game really.
Son, were you playing as a team with a point to prove today after the weekend?
I think what Christian said, we bounced back. This is the main thing because we are disappointed, of course, but I think it was a very important game to get three points again and show our mentality and our character. This, I think, was the most important.
Luckily, we scored an early goal and we had both positions for I don't know how many positions, but I think we deserved to get three points and I think we should score a little bit more.
Scoring as early as you did, so early, what bearing did that have on the game as a whole, do you feel?
I think after we scored early goals, everyone had confidence. We played a little bit more aggressively than normally. We had a lot of possibility to create a chance. I think in the first half we scored three goals and in the second half it was more... Relaxed in the first half, so I think we deserve to get three points here.
How much do you enjoy your goal today from a technical point of view?

Chapter 3: What did Christian Eriksen say about bouncing back after the Wolves loss?
Well, they're a point ahead of Manchester City. They're six points behind Liverpool, having played a game more than them, with City and Liverpool set to face each other on Thursday. Should we start talking about Spurs as being in the title mix again?
Definitely. Half the season is gone. Most definitely. A lot of hiccup against Wolves, which would have concerned the manager. We've got a reaction tonight, albeit they've got a great helping hand inside two minutes, but I think they're always going to win tonight.
Like I said before, I think they've got some really good players in Eriksen and so on, some special players along with Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Alderweireld really solid at the back, his partner Sanchez. They're a team filled with very good players. I think after the Wolves game, the manager would have been concerned, You know, because he got rolled over in the second half, the luster.
You know, when you think on the back of some of the performances just prior to that, the Everton one, you're thinking, if you're Pochettino, the team's firing all cylinders. So to come unstuck in the manner in which they did against Wolves, he would have been questioning them. And I think after tonight, you'll think he's got a team again.
As much as this was a great reaction to the Wolves' result, will there be an added element of regret as to how that went, particularly in the second half, now that they know they could have kept the pressure on even tighter on the leaders?
Yeah, I suppose when you look at it today, though, all they know is that for them to be in contention and keep doing it, it's... a lesson learned, but all they can do now is keep taking care of business. So you can't get carried away now that we're talking about them being back in the title race because they can slip up. In football, things can change so quickly.
So for Spurs players, it's just about keeping concentrating on their job.
And as Christian Eriksen said, they controlled the majority of the game there at the Cardiff City Stadium and they went ahead so early.
Two minutes in, last slice of luck. This great ball around the corner from Harry doesn't stop. To Harry, doesn't stop. He plays it wide. Now he just wants to get in the middle of the goal where most of the goals are scored. And he enjoys some tremendous luck here. He knows nothing about it, but he's there. He's standing in the middle of the goal where most goals are scored.

Chapter 4: How did Son Heung-min contribute to the team's performance?
We don't see it off camera. He's now in the middle of the box there. He's thinking, I've got a header on this. I've got a volley on this. They've got a large slice of luck today.
Like you said, it's Dele Alli who's pirouetting in the middle of the penalty area. Players trying to work out where the ball is. Harry Kane, as you say, is absolutely there, as he has been against every Premier League opponent that he's played against. He's played against 28 teams, scored against every single one of them.
He's the only player... We're not counting players who've only played against one team and have a 100% record.
25 years old.
And he's 25 years old, exactly. And you think that the new teams he'll be playing against will be promoted sides. There's a good chance he could keep that record up.
He's a very special player. You know, it's very easy... you know, stats are the thing of the modern game, to look at the games he plays, the goals he scores. But he's an all-round footballer. You know, he's got a great picture when he drops deep and he gets on the ball and he gets turned. You can see a great picture and he can deliver it. He's got the technique to deliver on the picture he sees.
And he's got that sixth sense that all the strikers have.
Yeah, and you can see that, like you said, and back it up with the stats as well. Christian Eriksen, man of the match in this game. How much of a contributing factor was the way he took that goal, Alex?
Well, I just love how he spoke so blasé about it, saying, you know, well, I do this all the time in training. It's a top-quality goal, that touch here to roll it out your feet, keep that composure and totally kid the player right there to get it because they think he's going top corner the other side.

Chapter 5: What are the implications of this match for Tottenham's title ambitions?
I think it was key. I think the energy that we showed from the beginning was fantastic to dominate the game and then to be the protagonist of the game. Of course, we knew very well that Cardiff is a team if... The time ran and you cannot open the score. It should be difficult. We watched the game against Leicester and it was like this. And of course we wanted from the beginning to put high tempo.
And I think we found the solution quick in the first 20 minutes, I think. We marked the way to play and, of course, to score the three goals helped us after to dominate the whole game.
Another goal for Heung-Min Son. He's been in terrific form for you of late. You're going to miss him, aren't you?
No, but that is football. We knew very well that it's going to happen. Of course, it's going to go with his national team, but we have players and, of course, always football is about the squad and we need to find the solution and surely we are going to find the solution.
in terms of what you're trying to achieve in the premier league this season just sum up the importance of these three points today look only the most important for me is the three points and then i don't want to see the table of course we are in a very good position but we need to be consistent of course Today, the Premier League is so tough.
If you want to be in a good position, you must be consistent during the whole season and you cannot afford to lose three points, how we lose again both. And, of course, if we are capable, like I told from the beginning of the season, if we are capable to show that performance and then to keep... during 10 months on the Premier League, sure that we are going to be there.
But that is the biggest challenge that we have ahead.
So, finally, you've won your game today. How much are you looking forward to seeing how Manchester City and Liverpool respond on Thursday? I don't care, I don't care, I don't care. You will be watching?
Of course, because it will be an unbelievable game. And, of course, I'm going to enjoy football too. And, of course, both teams, I think, are the best today on England. And of course, it's going to enjoy. But the day after, we are going to play FA Cup, very close to Liverpool. And of course, we need to be ready again because we have ahead a very, very, very busy fixture.
