Chapter 1: Why is JD Vance a controversial figure?
But I want to jump into one of your favorite people right away, Jake. And that's JD Vance, your boy, JD Vance. And I bring this up because we've talked about me and you have talked about Theo Vaughn before. I don't know much of your contention with JD Vance. So I want to get into that.
But I also want you to kind of give me your where your headspace is at in regards to JD Vance saying that Theo Vaughn's podcast is something that people should actually listen to, not just in general for like, entertainment but for like political purposes to get actual information so let's let's jump into that first
I'm going to do a rare thing for me and start with a compliment. So with J.D. Vance, the best thing that he's done recently was walk away from the negotiations with Iran prior to the start of the war.
What you need to do in order to win a negotiation, you have to be able to walk away because if you don't have the ability to walk away, then what you're saying is I'm going to give in to essentially anything that gets asked at a certain point. They just have to figure out what it is they need to ask me. Instead of that happening, J.D.
Vance walked away from the negotiations and we made the Ayatollah Khomeini into a past tense, which is a great thing for the world. I'm a big, firm believer in when you take a negative off the board, that then becomes a positive for everybody else. I have tons of Iranian friends.

Chapter 2: What are JD Vance's views on Theo Von's podcast?
And to tell you the truth, they are so happy with the world that we're in at the moment. They know that it can get better, and that is going to be something I'll talk about with J.D. Vance and Donald Trump in just a little bit. But for right now, when you look at it in that vacuum, is it a good thing that we started our war with Iran? And is J.D. Vance partly responsible for it? Yes. Yes, he is.
Now... J.D. Vance is mostly an isolationist. He's not a guy that actually wants to really exhibit American strength across the board. He doesn't want to flex the muscles when it comes to places like China and especially places like Russia. That's just not who he is, which is weird because he's a Marine. But, you know, everybody has their progress.
Now, when it comes to him saying that Theo Vaughn is his favorite broadcaster, he specifically said it's because Theo Vaughn has a good heart. I call bullshit, shenanigans, whatever word you want to use or phrase you want to say for that is absolutely not true. It's not true. Now, Theo Vaughn, I understand that he's got some mental issues.
We all have got some mental issues, especially me personally. But at the same time, you can't let those issues turn yourself into a bad person. In fact, when you have issues, you have to work harder to ensure that you're staying on the straight and narrow.
Chapter 3: How does JD Vance's political stance affect his credibility?
That's not what Theo Vaughn does. at least from just listening to him, hates Jews, really despises Israel, and can never find a really bad word for any of the terrorists that have caused so much pain, death, and destruction in the Middle East. It's just like Dave Smith, where it's always Israel's fault. It's always the fault of the Jews.
And if you saw his rant on Joe Rogan, that's not a dude that's all there. That's not a dude who's saying, but more than anything else, When J.D. Vance says that Theo Vaughn has a good heart, absolute fucking bullshit, because what Theo Vaughn is doing is spreading hate, and he is spreading hate to a bunch of people.
If we're just going to listen to him for his comedy, sure, he's not my favorite comic, but I understand why other people find him funny, but if you're listening to him for his political takes, and he and Tim Dillon and that whole comedy podcast-istan crowd are all doing the same thing, all saying the same things, nah, dog, you don't have a good heart, and
Pretty much just shut up when it comes to international politics, because the next time you're right is going to be the first time you're right.
