gandals, the song fan. It's a full time member. Marley just got an assist from Chris B. Whoa, we're buzzing right now. Sonk. We are back, boys. Oh my God, the NHL has finally arrived. It is, it is the day we've all waited for, Biz, Keith, Merles. Thanks for joining us this show. But show no first: the beginning of hockey, but not the beginning of Pinkies Up, boys. Pink, pink Whitney's everywhere. We've talked many times about the competition. Show your pinky. Show us the greatest pinky out there. Win win money. Get on a billboard. You know what? Look at Murz got the bottom. Surprised the thing's not gone after a long rainy weekend with the nor'easter. I had some real issues, boys. And they remain still right now.
John Molinaro 2:13
I I can talk to you about that in a minute. Okay. But Biz, what's going on? Are you ready to go?
Ryan Whitney 2:17
I'm ready to go, buddy. I had a great weekend back home, just relaxed, got my energy stored up, and it's gonna be a hell of a week. We get things kicked off. Uh well this is gonna drop on Tuesday, so this is the start of the NHL season. I get things going on Wednesday on TNT, uh kicking things off with the Battle of Pennsylvania. And then we get to see the two uh old folks' homes go at it. We get to see the Colorado Avalanche and the LA Kings, the two oldest teams in the league, go at go at it late night. They're getting out past their bedtime.
John Molinaro 2:46
I do, I do. You just brought up the old goats. Then I remind reminded me of your dog in Colorado, Keith Dog, Colorado, then your dog Minnesota, Keith Dog, Minnesota. Merles is the original hater of the wild. What did you think about Billy G getting on T V, getting ready for the season, and reminding the world why would you think this is why
Unknown 3:07
What do I think of it or what does Merle's think of it? I've never been happier in my life when I heard you two guys going against Minnesota. Like, thank God they'll all leave me alone now. That was one of the hardest months of my my life last year in the playoffs. Having to root against them, my DMs getting flooded with all those fans. So I thank you guys for taking all that and you know, I I'm I'm always been a Billy G guy, so I I loved him calling you out the other night. Yeah.
Ryan Whitney 3:38
How does that happen? He was he he was like, I agree with you. He was right behind me. Mind you, Merle's never got called out on TV. Merle's called them frauds. I just said they weren't gonna make playoffs and that Quinn Hughes was gonna get traded. And that's why I thought that.
Keaton Verhoff 3:52
And mind you, Army was orchestrating all this because he was on site in Minnesota. He was orchestrating all this, trying to sewer us to our good friend Billy G. Well.
John Molinaro 4:01
Yeah, I think he might have told them originally. That's where he first heard. Now, Biz, I do want to give you the chance to address and for people who don't know, what Billy G said was, why would you ever listen to a guy about playoff hockey who never played in the playoffs?
