Why do the hosts apologize for the audio quality and what caused the issue?

What's going on, everybody? Welcome to Striking Gold, your 49ers podcast on the Blue Wire Network. My name is Rob Lauder. Just a quick heads up. Something to do with the way StreamYard, our new YouTube software that we use, something about the way it works. If I make any changes to my mic before we hit record... it totally kind of freaks out their software and makes it to where my mic is super loud, sort of obnoxious, really sensitive. It just like almost like defaults all the settings of the microphone. And again, just makes it sound really obnoxious. So I wanted to add this to the front of the pod, just in case anybody was kind of like listening for the first time and thought this is what the audio typically sounds like.
I did my best to take KP's audio and kind of even them out. So there wasn't these huge, differences in volume so we had to keep turning it up and turning it down hopefully that's not the case again if you're a regular regular listener our audio is usually buttoned up pretty tight but this is just one of those weird instances the last time this happened it's actually happened one other time i didn't even post the pod on i didn't even post the pod on um on apple podcasts or spotify because i was just so angry about the audio I feel like I was able to get it to the point where it was acceptable this time. It was a fun pod about predict or excuse me, drafting the 49ers roster by position. I wanted you guys to be able to hear it.
Um, but again, just, just bear with me on the audio quality. It's not what, what we're used to around here. Um, I just, again, hopefully you can forgive me and, uh, we should be back to normal next week. Um, uh, on Monday's pod, where again, live on YouTube, I think instead of drafting 49ers position groups, like we did this time, which again was a ton of fun. Um, I enjoyed it and we're going to do 49ers players and draft individual players, maybe 10, 15, 20 or so players each, something like that. So again, the whole point of this little intro, I'm already spending too much time talking about it, is just to say I apologize for the audio quality. And again, bear with us. It'll be back to normal next week.
It's just one of those weird things of getting used to the software that StreamYard uses that runs the YouTube side of things. So again, I apologize. And thanks for hanging out. Thanks for listening. Thanks for being here. Thanks for being part of the Striking Gold fam. And here is our show with KP. What's going on, everybody? Welcome to Striking Gold, your 49ers podcast on the Blue Wire Network. My name is Rob Lauder. That's Kyle Posey. We cover the 49ers for all of you fine folks on the other side of the speaker or the screen or the stream on YouTube. KP also does that thing for NinersNation.com. Make sure you give that a listen, KP. How you feeling about Brandon Ayuk?
Another day. Another day. You know there's nothing to talk about for even like national reporters when you see these aggregators going to his IG and just sharing everything that he does. Today, Brandon, are you kind of Commanders? Tomorrow, Brandon, are you doing something with the Commanders? Brandon, are you going to play for the Commanders? We get it.
He doesn't want to play for the 49ers. We get it. It's so weird, man.
you know just the crazy eyes and now he's just you know he's just milking it you know he knows what he's doing and it's like he's you you know that he knows people are like paying attention like i don't want to say that the big players are the important people but he knows that he's getting some traction here so of course he's gonna milk it man
