On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is going over many of his biggest Buffalo Bills takeaways after watching back the film and going over stats from the Bills impressive road victory in Pittsburgh over the Steelers, 26-7 both from the game itself and going forward into this stretch run of the regular season.The Bills were down four offensive starers including both tackles but it didn't stop the offense from racking up 249 rushing yards on the ground against a pretty decent defense. Patrick talks about prematurely bashing Joe Brady on social media early in the game before smartening up to exactly what the Bills were doing and why. Sometimes simple is better when the other team can't stop it and Brady's intelligence didn't come in fooling Pittsburgh but simply by not allowing himself to get to cute. It certainly won't work every week and hopefully Brady keeps it matchup specific but he implemented the right plan at the time against the right opponent for sure.Patrick also talks about why he thinks the Bills defense is straight up better when Shaq Thompson is the middle linebacker. The Bills playing respectable defense is becoming normal of late and Patrick thinks Thompson's part of the reason why.Also discussed is the Bills being able to take Pittsburgh star players almost completely out of the game.
