Before getting into today's episode, I wanted to let you guys know a couple things real quick. I recorded a live podcast on Thursday night at Imperial Pizza with two of the very best Buffalo sports journalists in the business today. Tim Graham of The Athletic, Matt Perino of Syracuse.com. Very excited to always get... those guys on the show and talk shop, whether it's media stuff, life stuff, of course, Buffalo bills, uh, things of that nature. I need to let you know a couple of things. So before you listen and your ears start to hurt, number one, while we were doing the show over the last, we probably had about maybe five minutes left to go. This has never happened. I probably done 60, 70 live shows at various buyers restaurants.
This has never, ever happened, but somebody actually literally said, pulled the plug on the show. They pulled the extension cord right out of the outlet and the power went out abruptly and in the show. So there's no outro, no wrapping it up or anything like that. This show quite literally ends. Fortunately, it was going to be at the end anyway, but it quite literally ends totally. abrupt, um, Maparino joke. It was the only way to get Patrick to have a podcast that would be less than an hour is by pulling the plug. Well, he's not wrong because somebody literally pulled the plug. So that's number one, number two, and you know, far more, uh, concerning for the purpose of this episode there was a setting issue which i was not privy to until it was too late after the fact we record through a mixer which goes into the computer onto the stream the mixer levels were perfect like almost always however on the computer the uh the output was all the way up and maxed out so as a result
The audio is, I'm not going to lie to you folks, it's not good. It is quite terrible, actually. It peaks like crazy. I've done my best to kind of get it a little bit more quiet. It is legible, so you can, thank God, you can still hear what Tim and Matt were talking about. But I'm letting you know now, and if there's one thing you know about Talking Buffalo at this point, you know, the content might suck, but the production value of this show is typically top notch. So I'm very annoyed about that. It sucks. The audio sucks. Hopefully you're willing to give it a listen anyway, because again, Matt, Tim, two of the very best. And we spent a good chunk of this episode talking about some sports media stuff, some college stuff, some life stuff.
And then we started to get into Bill's camp as well. Again, at the very end, Terrell Bernard's subject came up. bam, show off the air. So I do apologize about the video and the audio. I should say this is never going to happen again. I'm going to have to make sure three times over that the laptop settings are correct as well. It's switched completely on its own. It's never done that for me before. So again, very, very, very, very sorry. Please try to get through the audio because there's some really good content in there if you can.
