Late morning on Tuesday, which means, as normal, I'm joined by my good buddy over at SB Nation, Matt Warren. Matt, we survived. We survived the offseason. We survived the dead time. All the filler weeks that we've had trying to keep things, you know, interesting and fresh. We'll have new stuff to talk about starting today.
It's football season. It's back. What's up, man? How you doing?
Yeah, by the time this episode comes out, we might even have an idea of who the starter is at left guard. We might know what the front seven is going to look like in the first wave and the second wave. Although, if I'm not mistaken, the Bills are not letting reporters report that from training camp. So it'll have to be based on fan interaction.
Guess who's not a reporter? Guess who will be reporting that? Everything he sees. And I don't give a shit about policy because I'm not. I know. An accredited member of the media. I will be at six of the seven practices at Rochester starting, well, today. The only one I won't be at is Saturday, August 1st. Because I won't be doing a live show after or any kind of podcast after. Plus, I'm going to Tim McGraw at Darien Lake. Tim McGraw, one of the few country singers I actually like. I know enough of his music that I'll have myself a good day there. Coming out to Genesee County. Nice. Yeah. Anyway, so I will be doing a podcast with, you know, updates, reaction from practices. So you can expect that every single Bill's practice.
I'll be at six or seven. I'll also be at both Highmark, well, scrimmage for one practice for the other on the 8th and the 18th. So plenty of practice reaction coming up here on the days to come with Talking Buffalo. You know, another way to know that Bill's season is officially here, Matt, we could talk about a million other things. Joe Biscaglia has, you know, like the Undertaker come out of his casket. He's back from the dead. He put out a roster projection on The Athletic shortly before we went on here to record this Tuesday morning. So you know it's football season when our good buddy Joe B is back, too. So you'll love to see that.
Very clear boundaries for Joe Biscaglia. Very happy that he came back on Monday. He came back to work on Monday, dropped a tweet from Harry Potter, and then dropped his first newser today. So, you know, he was working on it yesterday all day so that he could drop that Tuesday morning and cover the Bills return to camp.
But, yeah, the dead time's over. From here on out, it's about football. And then when the build season ends, you're all right. The Sabres will be, you know, it overlaps like always. And then you get into the Sabres. Then it's unrestricted free agency season, cut season. Then it's draft season. So, you know, you get the next 10 months of plenty of stuff to sink your teeth into before you got to come up with a few things here and there during the dog days. Not dog days of summer, but the dog days of podcasting. Yeah.
I always loved the off season. I thought that there was always interesting topics to dive into. Especially like the later the bills started playing into the January's and everything like that. It felt like we were missing out on, on stuff as far as like writing goes. And so, I mean, I'm certainly glad to miss out on that stuff to cover the bills, you know, going to the AFC championship game, let's make it like February 14th this year. But like, I mean, it, it, Buffalo Rumblings didn't take vacations or doesn't take vacations. So like, you know, there's always something new there, no matter what day, week, month. And same with your podcast. You don't, you know, you're not taking weeks off.
