What's up, man? Doing well. Uh Work's coming down a little for me on the personal side. I was working, I know I was telling you it's working like sixty five hours a week. Yeah, it's crazy. Now that the fourth of July passed, you were like, Oh man, I'm sorry I haven't had you on since the Sabres playoffs. I'm like, dude, I've been working twelve hours a day. It's been insane. So things are coming down a little bit there. And when you texted me today, said, Hey, you want to do a show? And you are you know, you already know. I'm like, Yeah, typical.
Typical Patrick fashion, too, where I text Steve Day of. I'm like, uh, Steve, are you available tonight? I I love it. It's like You you're you're one of those high leverage relievers in in baseball. You know what I mean? It's like I can go to the bullpen whenever I need to. Seventh inning, eighth inning, close out a game in the ninth. No matter no matter what it is, I can always uh count on Steve. Love that about you, man. You did a great job the last few weeks on Sunday nights too. Um well on the video side anyway, on Sunday nights. Um Joe from Queens, who So we could Steve he could he's on the show last night. I'll take a little peek behind the curtain. And uh for everybody who who is listening to this, especially the regular listeners, they might get a kick out of this.
When Joe and I do a show, it's never less than like an hour and a half, right? Even if we say, you know how I am, I always tell you, this isn't gonna be a particularly long episode. It always is. I don't even bother saying that with Joe because I never shut up. He never shuts up. It goes on forever and we just drag it out. He wants to have that second beer and he drinks so freaking slow on the show. So that's guaranteed to be. uh an hour and a half. But now Joe has a new baby and you know uh mama Joe from Queens is like, better get your ass, you got an hour. You got our so all of a sudden, you know, very long-winded Joe was not quite as uh long-winded on on the show yesterday. But it was probably it was good obviously to have him back.
And again, congratulations to him having uh a second baby. But yeah, that was that was just kind of funny how the guy who probably, aside from me, blabs more than anyone else in the world, uh was kind of on a pitch count. It put me on a pitch count too. Uh on the show uh on Sunday night, which was He was whispering too.
He was like Yeah was was the kid sleeping next to him? He was I don't know I was the volume was down.
Yeah, at the very end, uh baby Luke was was was cried a little bit because typically when we're done recording, we'll hit stop and then him and I'll have our own private conversation, you know, with this still open. But yeah, he was like, I got a bounce piece. And baby's crying and like, well, get used to it, dude. Um, before we get into today's show, which we're gonna spend plenty of time talking about, Josh Allen, man. This is gonna be, I feel like as great as Josh Allen is. And as popular as he is, at least on this show, I feel like we don't even talk about Josh Allen enough. Kind of almost take him for granted. We're going to spend some time talking about Josh Allen today on the heels of being named uh the number one quarterback in that ESPN series with executives, coaches, and scouts.
