And I'm joined by two special guests right now. To my far left, he's been with me for more of these live shows, I think, than anybody else. My guy, Buffalo Bills beat reporter Matt Marino, and to the middle of us, the OG man, show episode number one.
2018 when I started this podcast, the very first person I called, Sal Capaccio, asked him to be my first guest. Got me off and running, man. I've always uh appreciated that. What's up guys? How you doing? Pretty good, man. These wings were amazing.
Doing great. I I I told Pat before the show, I have a Mount Rushmore of chicken wings in Buffalo and Sunny Reds reestablished themselves on that Mount Rushmore tonight. I will say though, the hot blew my face off tonight. Like if you want spicy wings, come get the Sunny Reds hot because they were kicking tonight.
All right, so I got a couple of things to say about the wings. Number one, I had never had them until today. Oh wow. And I've always said Sauce is sauce in Buffalo, yes they can differ. It's really to me the meat, the size of the wing that matters. They are humongous. Yeah. Humongous, right? So I took a picture. Okay. This is what the wings look like tonight. They're incredible. But I have a bone to pick with this guy over here. This is what I came for. And literally like it I know you did. It's literally a bone to pick because Do you see what he leaves on his wings?
This is dude, you're worse than my son. Dude. You are worse than my eleven year old son.
I'm watching, I'm like, there's no way you're not eating that, right? He left look at that.
That's embarrassing.
Look, what why would you do that?
That is brutal.
That is I mean, what are we talking about?
What's the deal here? What's the deal here? I don't know.
I offer no excuses.
Oh my God.
There's a lot.
I did leave a lot of meat on the bottom. Is it normal? You order a lot of wings. You order wings and then you just don't eat a lot of it?
No, not normal. Okay.
He had so many.
Well, here's the thing. I know what's happening. He's a little bit feeling funny about the bone because he's literally been across the entire region eating chicken fingers for like three months.
So he doesn't know how to eat it.
I don't eat a chicken wing anymore.
That's like I remember when I was little and we'd have chicken wings and I would leave something. My mom would say to me, You're leaving the best part. It is, it's that crispy part near the bone. Dude, you love the whole wing basically, like uh on the plate, right? So anyway, I mean that's that's I might go fit. That's that's I might go fit.
I gotta give you some pops. That that is an unexpected gotcha moment. I never saw that coming. In fairness, though, you're right. I have been on a chicken finger kick and I've been eating those with a fork and poor Big Tree Inn.
Literally the takedown of the century. Yeah, that was. This dude came for the big tree in in a way that I've not seen.
anybody comfort somebody like that. Okay. In fairness though, I make it a point and we and we've talked about this. I don't ever enjoy going after a place. You guys have influence. I have a little bit. You guys have more than me. And if Do you want to be that guy who somebody's not gonna go to a restaurant to spend their money because Sal or because Matt said, you know, this food's not good or whatever. Of course not, right? So I've been to a lot of places and I'll always find something to like about a place. Like if we went here, let's pretend I didn't like we didn't like the wings here at Sunny Rights. I'd be talking about
