It's Friday. Happy Friday, everybody. Not much going on in the world of sports. Bill's mandatory mini camp has ended. We won't see them on the field again until the end of July. Um, a little bit of lull right now with the Sabres. That'll pick up soon enough between free agency trades and the draft near the end of the month. So I figured this would be a perfect time. To drop this episode. We talk about wings a ton on this show. I write about them a lot, uh, social media. Who doesn't love wings, right? So it's been a a big passion of mine, I suppose, any wings pretty much since twenty twenty six when I moved to Florida before moving back in twenty twenty one. I've had Wings hundreds of times, like many of you.
at dozens and dozens and dozens of places, many of them many times, and I've always been the kind of guy who likes to to rank everything. And I've I I've had some fun with it. Grew a pretty big audience with wings. So anyway, I thought today would be fun pick today to uh to share with you my personal ten best wing spots for Western New York in twenty twenty-six. Both of them were live at uh different locations. Uh earlier this week, I had Buffalo singer Cammy Clooney at Imperial Pizza. And I'll tell you what, holy shit, man, she was.
Absolutely awesome. Super, super genuine, nice, humbled, obviously very talented. We talked about uh just her life, her career. Took a real peek behind the curtain of what it's like to be on the voice, what it's like to be on stage performing in front of Kelly Clarkson and John Legend and Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton. took us through that whole process, talked about uh her being the singer for the Sabres with the National Anthem, uh the mic cutout during the playoffs this year that went viral, just so much stuff uh with Cammy. She was she was awesome. And I'll tell you what, she's really cool off camera too. I was so So impressed with her. So check that out. And then just yesterday, I did a live show with Thad Brown, uh, about longtime Buffalo Bills beat reporter.
Tell you what, that was fun. We had a lot of fun uh with that show. And one of the things we talked about kind of as it relates to what we're doing today was some wing talk. And Thad is with me. In the minority I don't like blue cheese. Dad hates blue cheese as well. So that was a fun side topic that we had on yesterday's show during our conversation. I thought it was actually pretty funny and surprising because we had eating wings right before we went on the air and our food was off to the corner of uh, you know, off to the side of the camera. And when I looked, I never noticed it because I never eat blue cheese. Usually my guest or whoever I'm with always does. The thing was literally full. over the over the cup.
